on the third level, have found Bronze and Silver keys required, have taken advice and walked around very carefully looking for secret passages /doors,to locate the third key , taken a thief with me to help with the search skill, oddly walked into a room and the thief said "you should look carefully in here", secret door found, but on reloading a previous save, this dialogue was not triggered nor was the secret door found , not until I've walked in and out of the room countless times, I've walked round the level looking :( I can progress no further. To my shame I have trawled the internet looking for a cheat that will enable an ability to reveal secret doors.........
+What happens when you die is cool. I hope we'll find out more about the masked being later!
And there you have it. Keep in mind that I haven't finished the module yet, let alone gotten to Book Two, but so far I'm definitely enjoying it! :D
Keep up the good work Pixel! I'm very happy new adventures are still being made for this game!
And now the good:
+Stranger is an interesting fellow, and very suspicious. I'm intrigued, and it's a good thing when you really want to find out more but don't get it all at once.
+The setting is interesting. I notice that the gods are apparently the Norse Pantheon, with the All-Father (Odin) and Loki having worshippers that I've noticed. Are there other pantheons/sets sof deities as well? Maybe you should include some in-game books giving more info on the world?
-It's a little unclear what order the main quests should be done, if there is indeed an order. Judging from the comments here, it seems like it.
-Many areas are a bit too open, with a lot of dead-ends with nothing in them, except more of the "garbage" strewn about throughout the module containing a little gold or other items.
-Other than occasional comments as you explore, followers seem to have no dialogue, making them less companions and more summoned creatures that don't disappear, to me.
-Occasional minor spelling errors. Some of the more common one were "guard" mispelled as "gaurd" and "business" as "buisness". Not a big deal but still.
SPOILER:
The Zombie Lord carries a ring. Figure out what to do with it. :)
SPOILERS...
I am sure that I have cleared both levels of the crypt and the cave, and found the crystal ball. However, I can't seem to do anything to/with the ball, and the priest offers no comment when I speak to him. Have I missed something?
