Same here in agreement for a pps-43 model. And the Russians made the pps-43 with that metal stock because it was easier and quicker to make than a wooden stock. Therefore factories were able to produce more of them in the same time with wooden. Not to mention that in 1943, the siege of Stalingrad and Leningrad was happening. Some of those guns went right off the conveyor belt and immediately into soldiers hands. The Russians preferred a gun that takes less to time to manufacture and produce while reliable enough to operate almost flawlessly in the extreme Russian climate. Probably should have mentioned at the start that I am a big history buff. Especially weapon and military history.

yea, because soldiers said that they want a light gun as PPs but they were missing the PPsh stock

accualy it's the stock of PPsh-41
