After many years I've only found one of the special bows, although I've used the templates to smith things. It's really a geat solid mod. Nice designs, not OP.

Apolias_ 5 Feb, 2017 @ 3:26pm
as cool as these bows are, i have a very dissapointing fact ... there stats seem to alllll be backwards, light bows are the heavy ones an heavy bows are the light ones, i can tell just by drawing the string on them, :( please revise them please i love these bows for these looks an names, id love to keep "the bow with no name" but it appears to be a heavy bow when its weight is very low :/ please revise them please.

If you completed the civil war then the old jarls will be in the basement
thedarthfader 10 Dec, 2016 @ 8:10am
It took me awhile but it's back by the Jarls behind a bed, when you walk down the stairs its in the back right side
General Sherman [SAC] 8 Dec, 2016 @ 12:02pm
So I loked in the Pelagius wing of the Blue Palace and found nothing. Then I realised that there was an actual basement in the blue palace, so I looked there and still found nothing. That is just me, I might have a mod that messes with it, but I don't think so.
General Sherman [SAC] 8 Dec, 2016 @ 11:10am
I believe the basement artisanix is referring to is the bottom of the Pelagius wing. That is the only place that would be like a "basement" in the blue palace. I will be checking within the hour, so if I find the book in the Pelagius wing I will let ya'll know.
Apolias_ 26 Nov, 2016 @ 2:11am

Mini_Martini 25 Sep, 2016 @ 11:16am
the only bow that i dislike from this mod is the "dwemer tool" cuz it looks a bit TOO smooth so that's why i give 9/10
thedarthfader 24 Sep, 2016 @ 12:10pm

jschwind985 10 Mar, 2016 @ 8:39pm
Yes more BOWS who the hell could say no to more bows?! I will gladly be subscriber 10,000. Im under the assumption the bows don't spawn BEFORE finding the book correct?.
Magnus Venthrix 26 Feb, 2016 @ 1:31am
Nice 9/10
cfs1999 10 Jan, 2016 @ 5:01pm
Awesome
concretemonk 2 Jan, 2016 @ 11:24pm
i think this is a amazing mod. i like playing archers and hunter type characters so this fits in great. but wouldn't it be more lore friendly placing the journel in say, the drunken huntsman?
Idris 29 Oct, 2015 @ 6:57am
i love it :steamhappy:
Walsingham 18 Sep, 2015 @ 8:58am
I hands down prefer this over any other mod. Great effort. Great outcome.

Yes, they are highly powered. But they are (for me at least) hard to find.
Sparrowhawk -XIX- [Raven Guard] 3 Sep, 2015 @ 2:25am
An excellent gift to everyone who hated the fact that all high level bows looked like they were made out of metal and covered with unrealistic spikes. Thank you indeed.
Savick 10 Jul, 2015 @ 9:03am
This mod has messed up one of my Smithing perks. It won't let me improve any weapon that has enchantment and I have the Arcane Smithing perk. Uninstalling.
Coley! 27 Jun, 2015 @ 11:56am
are they too OP?
j.morrison123 6 Jun, 2015 @ 2:13pm

MandalorianxMerc 25 Apr, 2015 @ 4:03am

Awesome
Mornelith 4 Mar, 2015 @ 5:47pm
Found the Twister Bow and attempted to improve it's quality, only to be told I lack the ability to improve magical items... The only problem with that is, I don't actually lack the ability. I have the Arcane Smithing perk. Has anyone else encountered this?
Beoftw 17 Jan, 2015 @ 11:41pm
Does anyone know what the bow of shadows actually does? This guy hasn't bothered to actually explain the stats anywhere other than just a stupidly short description.

It does 'insubstantially more damage' and then 'more damage at night'

Wtf does that even mean?
yunni~* 9 Jan, 2015 @ 12:02am
Anyone know how much poison damage does the Scorpion's Tail does?
Roddic Godbronze 13 Dec, 2014 @ 9:43pm
Best mod ever, took me an hour to find the bow of shadows, awesome hiding spot

11/10 Best Mod for Bows
DAPiP (YT) 28 Jun, 2014 @ 10:30pm
10/10 would find bows again
Unomii 13 Jun, 2014 @ 7:56am
does the bow of shadows have an enchant?
voodoovibe 8 Apr, 2014 @ 10:55pm
@artisanix: I (in my own opinion) agree with bushman3000..it would be much better if one could craft them under the last 3 smithing perks (ebony, daedric or dragonbone) becasue the quest for finding these bow artifacts would be (sorry for my words) kinda useless, as it takes away the fun of using the bows 1st once you found them if you are already be able to craft and use the unechanted version's early at the early stages...but hey, this mod is realy good, some of the items reminds of morrowind and oblivion...thanks...
bushman3000 28 Mar, 2014 @ 10:35pm
Really like this mod just wish couldn't craft them. They are just to strong to have at beginning of game since can craft 4 of them with steel smith perk. If you ever worked on this mod again and maybe agree could move to deidric or ebony or maybe even dragonbone at least. Just to force people to find the bloody things first, then if they don't like your enchanting, they can do their own.
rupert 4 Mar, 2014 @ 11:32am
Bow of shadows is in the lake in shadowgreen cavern and the Hunters Roar is in the boss room of broken tower redoubt
Blaiklock 14 Dec, 2013 @ 9:09am
For those a little too lazy to look for them (like me) then bring up the console (button left of 1) and type:

help THENAMEOFBOWHERE 4

That will search for any items that include what you've typed, it will give you the item number in brackets. Then type:

player.additem ITEMNUMBERHERE 1

The one at the end is the quantity of the item you want, if you want 3 bows then put 3 there instead.
MafiaGeorge 23 Oct, 2013 @ 6:06pm
Just out of curiosity is there somehwere I can read all the bow's effects, the text is insanely small and I have trouble reading some
Akhi11eus 22 Oct, 2013 @ 10:47pm
@Eternal Lord of Llamas Try looking in the very last area of each cave/dungeon/ruin. They are usually near wherever the final enemy is (dwemer centurion, dragon priest, etc.). They are hidden, but if you're having trouble, try using a torch (if you don't have the wearable lantern mod installed) to search darkened corners. The really great part of this mod is the search, so I wont spoil it, but don't leave a corner unchecked.
Frahaleah 19 Oct, 2013 @ 5:35pm
Gotta admit, you hid them well.
