Are you able to do a Definitive Edition version for this please

Did everyone playing this game forget about Wands? C'mon, I understand we forget but Staff is for magical melee, not ranged.

This didn't work on staves, no. All my staves still have melee attacks.
Bcit 22 Jul, 2018 @ 2:44pm
I seem to encounter the problem that my staves keep melee attacking, maybe I use the wrong staves or is every stave affected?
Kōdo 13 Jul, 2018 @ 1:36am
Any chance of a fix to the sheathing? They just sheathe on the hips for some reason.
Asmodeus 17 May, 2018 @ 12:44pm
even their equip slot changed, so now staves are equiped in the wand slot and it looks reddiculous wtf
Asmodeus 17 May, 2018 @ 12:29pm
this mod changes the staffs to wands for some reason

What about improvised staves?
Smoses 11 Apr, 2018 @ 9:51am
Thanks i was looking for something like this^^

I agree with Mei that the staff of magus spell should have no cooldown
Leviathan 2 Apr, 2018 @ 8:51am
Love the idea but the mod makes staves sheathe on my character's hips. Looks really stupid :x

Love the mod and the idea, but did find it causes a portrait issue with some of Helaene's classes. Like a black shadow/marking in the portraits.
DethMxge 13 Mar, 2018 @ 2:17pm
it's 2 Op ..lol.....its perfect
majo 11 Mar, 2018 @ 7:51pm
you should make the max range customizable, it's too OP imo, basically just better wands
Mei 5 Mar, 2018 @ 3:10pm
Maybe remove the cooldown of Staff Of Magus and make it create elemental puddle?
Elvasat  [author] 4 Mar, 2018 @ 10:00am
@Calliope they are two handed wands. I meant attack from distance with ranged not actually a ranged weapon.
@SneakyBawls it is ok, we are humans afterall.
@King Kazu yes they use wand animations. Because staff animations are melee and i had to change it.
SneakyBawls 4 Mar, 2018 @ 8:45am
Nevermind... I'm an idiot. When I activated it, I forgot to confirm before backing out. It works just fine when you're not mentally challenged. LOL
Raziel 3 Mar, 2018 @ 10:07am
This mod is rather interesting, it does as advertised and makes staffs ranged, but it also changes EVERY wand into a staff as well. So now everyone is carrying a staff on their hip instead of back, and it looks super weird.
SneakyBawls 3 Mar, 2018 @ 12:06am
So I have the mod, it's active in my game.... but I just used an air staff and they still ran up and conked them on the head like melee. Is there something that needs to be done first for this to work in-game?
Calliope 27 Feb, 2018 @ 4:55pm
I love the idea, I've always hated that staves only let you fire once a round ranged and then turned into melee weapons. I havn't installed the mod yet because I'm waiting to see how the mod works.

Questions.
-Do staves now scale with the "ranged" combat ability or do they still use the two-hander ability?
-Do staves now work with huntsmen skills?

One thing I hate about divinity is that huntsmen skills don't work with wands. If this mod doesn't already make wands and staves work with huntsmen skills you should totally make that a thing XD. I mean, I don't know if that's possible but it'd be awesome!

Either way, great mod Idea! Keep up the good work and thank you for the mod.

Yes!!! I love this!
Elvasat  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 2:02pm
@AiManDan7 Thanks for the report. Fixed and updated the mod.
PunishedDan7 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:38pm
It was a bow called "Boomstick", which admittedly is a bit of a weird name for a bow.
Elvasat  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:36pm
@Kad Gaming yeah basically
@AiManDan7 Was it actual a bow or a staff named bow?
PunishedDan7 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:11pm
It could have been complete coincidence, but not long after adding this mod I found a bow called Boomstick that required intellect and gave the skill "Staff of Magus." This was in the chest in the room just before fighting Kniles the Flenser at Fort Joy. I don't know fort joy to death so maybe that was there before but didn't notice it, and I figured that there may be some weird interaction with bows for whatever reason.

Will possibly test further but thought you might like to know.
Kad Gaming 26 Feb, 2018 @ 10:49am
So, correct me if I am worng, but this turns Staves into Two-Handed Wands.
