As you say, research stations is not built automatically. I do not call this state "supporting ver 2.2.2" even if only mining stations is built automatically.
It's impossible to support ver.2.2.2.

Um..., I could not find the cause.
Although I did test play till the Mid-Game + 10 years, no freezing is occured.
This mod works only every 3 months (and when starbase is built).
So, this mod do not seems to be the cause if the game freeze every 1 month.

Is there orbital station nearby that planet, like bottom right of 3rd picture in this web page?
If it exists, the resources are collected although "3" and "6" are shown in white text.
For change the text color to green, dismantle the mining/research station and wait 3 months.
I am encountering another issue. Stations are not built around locations discovered by anomalies. E.g I researched a lvl 5 one and it gives 3 engineering and 6 physics, yet I can't collect it. I dismanteled the outpost and built it again and still it's not taking it. Any solutions?
That problem is caused by Real Space. So, I cannot fix it.
To avoid the problem, you should order a construction ship to build starbase from stellar system map, but not from galaxy map.
I am having a problem using this mod in combination with Real Space 3.0 Max Compatibility. Systems which have 2 suns are requiring double the influence and mineral cost. Is there a way to fix that?
さて、対応策ですが、「敵性艦船がいる星系ではステーションを再建しない」にしようかと思います。これで少しは、海賊の存在意義が出る気がしましたので(前哨基地との殴り合いで長期間居座られると、いつまで経っても復活しなくなります)。

バグ?報告です。
ステーションが3個以上密集している場合、海賊がステーションを壊すよりステーションの復活が早すぎて永久に戦闘から抜け出せないことがあります。
たとえば、ステーションは無料復活しますし、船体値1装甲1にして即死しやすくするなど、海賊が抜け出しやすいような調整をしてはどうでしょうか。
他にも手段はあるかもしれませんが、思いついたことを書かせていただきました。

I could not reproduce the bug or find the code that make the bug. I cannot fix it, sorry.
i thought that my system scale had been screwed up, the stations were bigger than the planets they were mining
If you use any other mod, please check or temporary disable it.
And, it is difficult to fix this bug because I do not have Humanoids Species Pack.
For caution's sake, I fixed the suspicious code in my mod, although the actual bug may not be cleared. (for only newly built station but not for already built station)
I fixed reported issues just now.
ステーションが破壊されても植民地惑星が存在する場合も動作しています。
しかも少なくとも危機のスカージは掃討しようと足止めされてしまいます。

再建期間自体には自分も問題ないと考えてます
AI側の設定を変えなかったのは、他のMODとの互換性等を鑑みて(&その方が手っ取り早かったから)です。
再建期間が(毎月ではなく)3ヶ月毎なのは、PC負荷軽減のためと、「建設船で建てても、そのくらいはかかるでしょう」というのと、再建費用(mineral 90)に代わる簡易ペナルティとしてです。
ドラゴンの巣のような短期間でも大きな利益を産む惑星がある場合、3か月間再建できないのはかなり痛いです・・・
それにもしバグや他modの影響のような特定条件下で動かない時の保険として機能すると思うのですが
