I remember playing this a long time ago and not being able to solve it (I was 13 at the time). Playing it again and solving it like it's nothing really shows me how far I've come. This ain't bad for a Five year old Test Chamber. Good job!:steamhappy:

Nice map for laser geometry. Those that complain about not being able to see where the reflection gel redirects the laser need to relax a bit! It's not that hard to figure out!

Quite tricky! Superbly done. The icons to indicate activation are almost too cluttered, but you did it! The angled laser took me a long time to figure out.

Excellent chamber! As for not seeing the laser catcher after reflecting off the wall.... just "listen".. you can hear it activate!

Agreed on the guesswork with the reflected laser. Personally, I don't like reflect gel, but to each his own. But, if you're gonna implement it, regard that not many people know about it, and it's become tedious to not even see what's happening. I'd make that reflected laser part visible to the player from where he stands. Other than that, it wa a nice map. I know you were aiming to having a bunch of elements in a small space. That, for some including myself, feel it's too convoluted, distracting, and not an aesthetic design. The puzzles were good though. Maybe clean up the chamber a bit?

Wow, reflection gel. I love it. I'd like the exit door redirection thing to be a bit easier to see the bounce, if possible, at the moment it's mostly guesswork.

Took me 3 mins to solve it. Wasn't that difficult if you keep your head cool, follow the signal paths and think logically. "Nope, can't do that. Missing a cube to do that as well, that must mean I must do this now". Rinse and repeat a couple of times and bingo.

Quite nice map, although I feel it was a little too short.

There should be some sorta demonstration or some tutorial about a wholly new game play element. I did what I could, then thought "well, this is probably impossible, should prolly skip level". Then as i was contemplating that, I accidentally reflected the laser off the wall, and thus solved the puzzle. I mean, some sort a mention about "hey, look, doesn't it look like that wall could react weirdly to a laser beam?". Anything. Now, if you don't know this game play element, you're never gonna solve this. There's just no way.

Pretty good. I think you could have some kind of checkmark that goes on when you manage to bounce the laser with the reflection gel properly.

It's not very clear that the gel is reflective. Can you make it shiny or actually reflect the environment?

@deli73 It is isn't impossible. It just requires very careful aiming. If you watch the video on thinkingwithportals.com , you can see three ways of doing this.
