This is a cool ship, but the rotors have to go. There's no reason for them to be there, and they cause so many problems. I've heavily modified this ship for my own uses and it works great without them.

The easiest way to get around the rolling when hovering is just to use a Gravity aligner script. I've noticed it rolls over in space too though, where that script won't work. It seems to roll until it's at exactly 90deg from where it was

The 4 Adv Rotors on the bow of the ship are the culprits still, as soona s ship is stopped it begins to roll to the right and slowly increases speed.
Deleting these 4 rotos seems to solve the problem.

I completely rebuilt the ship (block by block) with no rotors at all, nothing outside of vanilla, and it still moves a little but it seems to settle sometimes (only sometimes) and now it also sometimes straifs right just a tiny bit.

I've noticed that too and it definitely has something to do with the rotors, but I haven't yet figured out how to solve it.
I will be reworking and improving this ship in the near future anyways and I'm going to take a deeper look into this whole rotor stuff. If nothing works I might just delete them in the end.

I really like this ship, but the problem I have is it slowly rotates when I leave it hovering. While piloting it or not, the ship can be seen to rotate (roll) until it tips over and crashes. I removed the rotors, all of them, and it does it much much slower, but still does it. I then gutted the ship, replaced the thrusters all that and it still does it. Can't figure it out for the life of me, not sure if it's anything else that can be dine, it still just starts to list until it tips over in air. So odd! Never seen that before.

i do love the design of the vessel, the only issue I've found is that the jumpdrive is not functioning. I have gone as far as installing a different jumpdrive and allowing it to charge, but it doesnt work. Jumpdrives in other ships seem to function correctly however.

I am looking for ships to use on servers, this one I can't use as servers are restricting the use of rotors, and you use rotos for turrets and programable blocks inside.

IMO, to be "ready for survival", blueprints should not have those design tricks that were not supposed to be in game.

I am just comenting because i do like your style a lot, and I wish you could adapt it to public multiplayer servers that has the block limitations.

So far this is my ABSOLUTE favorite athmosphere vessel hands down! Its gorgeious to look at outside and inside, handles well and is fun as hell to 'let it rip' in creative mode against that lame start base for s and g's. Well done!

Works fine on the moon. Just be gentle on the throttle. I tried to land it on the earth tho, I got busy, switched the dampeners on, and when I came back, my game was crashed. So I guess that means I had a collision with voxels

meant to be flown in atmospheres, i.e. everywhere except the moon :D

You got the architecture right. Let me elaborate a little more. Space is really just water above and below and infinite land. Submarine approach is best when used in so called "SPACE"

Update v1.1:
Removed the turrets that were causing problems and put some interior turrets in their place.
Turns out you can't place those rotor turrets right next to a wall. :/

Well you can access all reactors, cargo and co via the connector at the front.
I don't really play survival that much and have no idea if there is an easier more safe way.
The next ship will come without these stupid turrets, so it should work better in survival :D

Amazing looking build! But there is no access to the reactors to refuel! Had to gring the thing all over the place to find 4 of them. Still never found the rest.

For all of the turrets... in survival sub-grids never project. And I havent found a proper solution. The conversion to a ship process always leads to huge destruction. I let mine blow to hell, flew it back home, attached a projector and rebuilt it again.

Okay, so I just tested the ship. Started from Alien Planet and traveled to its moon. No problems with escaping planet's gravity and landing on moon but this rotor is quiet annoying (ship's spinning around) so I just removed that rotor, the one placed underneath the top-front minigun turret (idk if there's more rotors placed) and now everything's fine.
