But struts down to earth are usefull for larger buildings and are really convenient, if you need them.

This is what happens when the middle isn't supported on a barely noticeable dip in the terrain.

Thank you again Jrandall

My 1st ever vehicle was your Scarab HST
I've also been using your Merc-MX3-R
I then built your Sanctum Installation as my 1st ever Moon Base (mid-game progression).
I am requesitng your permission to re-post my edits to your Sanctum Installation. I added 15 Solar panels, created solar capacitor storage banks in the "extra rooms", lots of LCD screens updated around all the storage and farm deck, and added a capatins quarters, and washroom area in the empty wings off the farm deck.
Really impressive - very inspiring work sir - thank you for your contributions to the community!

In my bases I always have a "Offline mode" signal, which is connected to every crafting machine (ex. Constructors, Furnaces and Food Constructors) anything that uses power but are not vital for the survival of the base or it crew.
I just added this system in that base and the consumption lowered from 2.2MW to ~686KW. Increasing the power lifespan from 20Hrs to 64Hrs (with fuel tanks full).
Another system i like to implement in my bases are motion sensors, which control the lights. The lights will only be turned on when someone get inside a room for example. Generally the exterior lights I leave it on. With that motion sensor system I believe i could lower even more the consumption.
Ps. I tried on 2 different spots on Akua and Same issue.
the 108 farmplots is a nice bonus for fast leveling , its very nice done
i will see how muth it take's in materials to armor the building :))
Even so, this makes a smooth upgrade when you start with the ST version. =)
I used the ST as my first base, and most of the equipment there or is still in use or was fed to the blueprint - it's TRULY an upgrade.
(Although not every component was accepted for the blueprint, like cargo boxes or O2 tanks. Bug, I guess '-')
And, speaking of upgrading, the general layout is similar to the ST. It's a bigger and more featured base, but I don't feel lost at all. Same top with a landing pad an turret standings, but bigger. The constructors area is similar too (and now closer to the containers).
I had some extra buildings that I had to dismantle to rebuild connected to the new base - an anti-drone tower with some extra turrets and a HV "garage". But, when I realized, the new base have more turret spots and the hangar, so these two buildings became obsolete.
This base is just the ST on steroids.
And this is not a bad thing.
