I don't remember much about the game, since this mod is pretty old, but I think I made the unit available for all races.
If there are any DLC races, I didn't know of them, or I just didn't implement all races as I'd thought.
Nevertheless, I have stopped playing AoW3 ages ago and cannot support my mods anymore.

Please add in the DLC races for this unit. This mod seems really interesting but If there are no DLC race variants then It's not really gonna be fair

Mod is incompatible with deluxe specializations. What a shame.

And remember mods can't be used online with players which do not possess them too. So there must be consensus.

yeah thank jaden and no I not aiming to troll. I just have a few frends and my brother who dose this mode deel in some games to gain an advatige. wich in defenition. means cheating. but maby I got the wrong idea about all this game work shop stuff I nv new about it untell week or so back. I did see 1 mod for mont and balde. charter custmiation. i wont be running it but I see it was realy cool. helped me understand the game better. at any rate sorry and thanx for answering me. I had been thinking in takes courege for milo to step up and make a mods. opening him self up for critsim. so on that note I can respect that and sorry

Hey Vampi!! If you dont like just don't use the mod that somebody else made for themselves or others. If you want it made to your exact specifiactions either make it yourself or try and hire somebody to make it and word it the way you want...

First and foremost, let me tell you your English is absolute shit and you should start respecting others as well as the language you're using by working on your grammar and syntax.

That said, I changed the mod during the days next to the time I posted it. Resurgence I believe was removed and so was regrowth.

Before calling others poor players you should look upon yourself. You leave a wall of text commenting a work of someone else that is optional and not meant for all. If you don't like it you should move on, not waste each others time. What a profligate.

dud regrowth that is too broken unlesss his defence is like 8 not 14. and projection restiance. I mean man why dont u just give it resurgence why your at it. make it stronger then dwarf unites. wich are met to be the best units in the game. ohhh nvm u did give it resurgenve. wich is only met for undead units. dont decine vido games man u dont no what game balance is all about. and often poor players would only make something like this. I run with the normal 1 all the time and yes its hard but I can keep myn alive I have 1 for every army of golmes and I do just fine become a better player and u would not feel the need to cheepen thsi game bye feeling like u have to cheat

I'm glad to hear that, really. And it's not a problem, the effort is well rewarded by hearing this. I know how it feels when mods compensate for a game's lacking mechanic or respond to the requirements of a player!

I'm afraid what you say is true, and I realised that only after very few turns playing the DN. Reason why, I gifted the workshop with this, hoping it would prove useful for someone.

In case you return to AoW III and get a chance to test my unit, please let me know your thoughts.

Oh crap, I didn't even notice the upkeep was set to 24 gold, haha. And you're right, Razor Projectiles might be tied to an Orc racial. I haven't played with orcs very much.

AoW 3 is one of my top 3 games of all time ever, and I love Dreadnaughts, and I've always just felt that the Tier 1 Engineer was... soooooo weak, lol. Combined with the fact that the AI seems to always prioritize them even over more strategic targets, keeping them alive has always been such a chore. >.<

I'm surprised the unit is being praised by someone. I almost did it as a joke. I think razor projectiles might have been an oversight because I copied the unit from the Orc version... Strange i didn't see it when modding and subsequently removed it.

In any case, I gladly accept any balance suggestions. The Screenshots might be outdated, I don't remember what changes I applied after posting them. About the health pool, I did notice it grew very large over a short time, but compared to other tier 3s this unit is also considerably more expensive iirc (I'm not at my modding computer now and don't remember what price I set up).

Lessee... Defense and Resistence values look good... base Defense is high but Resistence is pretty low to compensate. Damage values seem about fair for Tier 3. And Razor Projectiles is an interesting choice, I like it!

But really... the game has needed this... like... forever ago. >.<

From a glance at the screenshots for this mod, the health gains on him for veteran levels look a little extreme, I'm not sure that even Tier 4 units will generally have 130 HP at Champion I. (Looking at the Sphinx, for example, it starts at 60 and winds up at 100) And having a base health of 80 will give him really strong survivability by default, so he doesn't really NEED that rapid of health gain from veteran levels, especially in a supporting role. And yeah... Regrowth would almost certainly have been broken, haha. Personally I'd suggest keeping the +10 HP at Champion and drop the other veteran levels to +3-6... You might also want to drop his base health a touch too... Just looking at a few other Tier 3 units, I think you'd want him to land at or near 100 HP for reaching Champion I. He'd still be pretty tanky.

Thanks for your interest. I've used them little, ironically I always end up modding stuff and getting bored of them as I finish the work. But the time I've tested them out they seemed very good. Perhaps too op?

updated the mod, removed resurgence and regrowth. Found that they were both too powerful and at many times useless (the simple fact engineers stand back with cannons expose them to few threats early on anyway). Added sprinting as the last-learnt ability at champion tier.
