Any chance of an update?

Are the dryad ships any different from the planetoid and if not why have them?
Mud 26 Jan, 2020 @ 6:56pm
Nice. Subscribed.

For that this could be interesting too, for the cyborg aspects:
Remastered Human Portraits Expanded:

I hope I didn't wasted in your view your comment page! I thinks for this it is better to open discussion rooms, I don't know how I just saw it somewhere else on this sites.

I think the following doesn't affect you, and your highest goal or willed effort could be a thing like "Humans Plus [2.X.X]", if you are in mood for it. But if you would cooperate with others there could maybe more like this:

I like the following ideas:

Visible Psionics:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1636812318

Visible Cyborgs:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1618459811

Optional and game mechanically attached, difficult to handle, Two and half Ascension:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1904492942

As another step could be the already !fix! "integrated" eye glow in "Twinks species" to make it separated from the base skin model which reduce required subcategories to choose from.

In this way you both could participate from it but if one mod for himself its just enough as long it works, why to solve it more systematically.

A good way to do this is this one I think with the differences I described:
Humans Plus [2.X.X]:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=899313553

It would be easier for all of us if there would be a subcategory below the picture where to pic them because humanoid is humanoid, so a base to pic and then select more alternatives. A color scheme based on climatic adaptation and solar spectral colors.

Maybe interesting for you too:

Remastered Elves:

Sincere regards

Hello,

if I had to wish, I would like to have different base skin colors separated chose able. I don't know If you have to name them dryads maybe a subcategory for the "space elves/humanoid elves"with the possibility for dryad skin is possibly better for the popularity of this mod - topic like dark elves etc.

And I would categoras the species below humanoid elves (elves/dryads) or so and not elves or dryades - wrongly made by other very popular mods too. I mean you can name it what every your imagination drives you, I think the game integrity is the part of how one latent categorizes a mods and moders quality or skill (I don't expect this stuff but it would feel better).

For me it just breaks the atmotphere and integrity of the game if it shows me that I use mods, so a proper organization would show lesser of disintegrity.

I'm honestly not sure this even works. I'm slowly getting back into Stellaris. I haven't played since before the whole planet system has changed. If I can figure out how to do it, I will set up summer and winter dryads as separate subspecies of the same species.
albertogalicia 28 Aug, 2019 @ 11:02am
I like it but... don´t you think it would be better to do two separate species one for summer and another winter?
Askil 30 Jun, 2019 @ 4:32pm
Thank you very much.
Rekov  [author] 30 Jun, 2019 @ 2:28pm
Please go ahead and use them. I don't really care if you credit me or anything, since they're just re-tinted versions of the base game. At some point I'll get around to updating these mods to the new game.
Askil 30 Jun, 2019 @ 8:07am
Hi, would it be possible to use your work on Animated portraits ? My purpose is to create a mod that combine all animated portraits that modders have done. Of course you will be credited. Have a great day.

There are mods (perhaps you could look at their code if you were ever interested) which force-spawning of only specific genders; like you can set all military leaders to be male/female, and then all scientist leaders to only be female/male, and have gender-based 'castes'. You might-might-might be able to set up the summer/winter dryads as different genders, and force different races to only spawn leaders of one gender or the other. I mean, if you ever really wanted to do the different empires thing.
Skygroot 10 Jul, 2018 @ 3:28am
Hello I'm trying to build a big mod that could use your own mod. If you are already alive Please contact me on discord at Skygroot#0384. I need some precision about your code.
Hariti Khatri 18 Jun, 2018 @ 9:43am
This means I can create Brokilon in Stellaris.
Streetlamp 2 May, 2018 @ 8:53pm
One things I would love to do with this mod is play around with the syncreatic species trait. Have the Summer and Winter dryads as two different races but part of the same starting empire.
Rekov  [author] 14 Mar, 2018 @ 6:05pm
It's something I've considered. I really wanted to be able to have two different empires which each used only one of the phenotypes, but still have them recognize each other as the same species, or at least as subspecies. Unfortunately, I think you have to use the same portrait (and same name and traits) for Stellaris to recognize two species as the same.
Hanna 14 Mar, 2018 @ 3:05pm
Thank you, great work on the portraits. Only thing I can think of would be to make them 3 seperate races, 1 that includes both pheotypes and one or the other for each and don't let AI empires choose this portrait because then your galaxy will have a ton of them.
Rekov  [author] 14 Mar, 2018 @ 12:18pm
Okay guys, I added some species names for dryads. I'll get around to adding more later on, and if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post them.
Rekov  [author] 12 Mar, 2018 @ 9:06pm
Thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure what causes that specifically but I'll look into it.
Hanna 11 Mar, 2018 @ 5:09pm
Can confirm, same issue as Apoc.
Apocryphus 10 Mar, 2018 @ 10:36am
I really like this portrait pack - but I noticed that when a species of dryad was generated in my game randomly, they didn't have a species name.
Euwydd 7 Mar, 2018 @ 3:55pm
I mean, specifically the request is because I like the idea of the exotic tones for elves as well (wood and dark elves and stuff) which core elves lack. That's the main reason I use it for a dryad empire. Sadly the only other mods that do it have all the phenotypes walled off as separate species (or there's elves of stellaris which makes them different species families entirely.
Rekov  [author] 7 Mar, 2018 @ 9:39am
@Euwydd It's something I could work on easily enough if there's demand. There are a few elf mods out there. I know there's one that does all of the different types of Elder Scrolls elves, but they have each type as its own portrait, not one diverse species.

The real problem is that there are a huge number of different ways to structure mods like this, and I don't have a good sense of what people want. Do people want skin tones in more exotic colors like I have here? Green, purple and blue? Or do people want a variety of more human skin tones? The same goes for hair.
Euwydd 7 Mar, 2018 @ 9:24am
Now I kinda wish there was a version that did this for elves of all gender too rather than have all elves as a flat gray. Still a neat mod idea for what it does, though.
_ALuX_ 6 Mar, 2018 @ 4:02pm
With this in mind I think you should make it clear that Plantoids should be required. Otherwise, I think by default it will just have the default mammalian ship sets.
Rekov  [author] 6 Mar, 2018 @ 3:59pm
Actually, I believe I do have the default ship/city style set to plantoid, but this would only affect randomly generated empires. The default during the creation process for custom empires appears to be mammalian no matter what you do. I don't know what it would do if you don't have plantoids DLC.
_ALuX_ 6 Mar, 2018 @ 3:49pm
I'll take a look in the .INI and let you know if I find anything. Great mod!
Rekov  [author] 6 Mar, 2018 @ 3:47pm
It currently seems to use the mammalian ship as the default. I'm not actually sure how to set this, but I could be convinced to set it to a number of different things. Plantoid might also make sense.
_ALuX_ 6 Mar, 2018 @ 3:40pm
Does this mod use humanoid ship sets as its default if the DLC is installed?
