No problem, take your time. Rushing mods just results in more bugs and imperfections, which means more wasted time bugfixing. Better to get it right the first time than to release umpteen patches, after all.

The idea behind the lanturn was that several races (Floran, Avian, Novakid, and especially phox) work a little bit better outside of the high-tech environment. This lantern just made it less tech-y. I'll consider adding something else later on but right now I'm kinda booked.

It'd be really cool if this could be tweaked somehow to be some kind of tricorder-type device. Always felt that scan mode should be obtainable without storyline progress, and with this mod that's actually doable. It just needs that little high-tech touch tbh.
