definitely consider incorporating a secondary solid navy/blue ish gray for the stock of the weapons, and maybe choose a orientation locked weapon as the base

By your logic, skins like Iron Wood, Nutcracker or Smalltown Bringdown shouldn't even exist.
And the second textures are zoomed in regardless, so with it zoomed in on certain areas it looks like a base colour or a diamond shape filling the gap
dont make the colors similar to the Damascus & Mahogany war paint tho, and by that i mean dont make the secondary colors brown... or maybe do make them brown, and simply change the color of the current primary metal texture to bronze or gold...
