Hey, I reuploaded a version of this addon that fixes a TTT2 related error as well as "failed to parse addon file". Would you link it in the description? I'd also like to list you as a contributor on my addon.

I'm sorry to hear about your failure to parse issue. If I'm honest I haven't launched TTT in a hot minute, perhaps gmod updates or updates to m9k add-on has borked it. Might have a look some time later!

And yeah, the sniper accuracy thing is just.. incomprehensible. I think it goes deeper than the weapon stat files, which is out of my depth.

Oh my god, I just read your change notes. You never fixed the sniper bullet spread problem. I can't either! I was hoping this pack could be a solution for me but apparently this problem is impenetrable...

Failed to parse addon file. This is the only addon in the world that I have seen this error with. Is this a known issue?

Nvm, i reinstalled it and the scopes are fixed now :p im still getting lua errors from headshots on certain guns, like the mp5, mp40, and thompson. those are the ones i've seen so far having issues.

other than that, i love this mod so much! i played TTT with 9 other friends last night with these guns and man it was a fuckin blast! thanks for making this <3

Also i think this conflicts with TTT 2, idk if its TTT 2 specifically, but the sniper's scope's are missing textures and everytime i headshot someone with the mp40, i get a lua error

I.. don't think so. Find M9k original to check properly, the link in the description takes you to the person who converted them for ttt, and will have the original creator there.

I was just wondering whether such a thing (like a convar) already existed and I just didn't find it. I'll just decompile and modify it myself. :tabbycat:

Hello! I'm not an expert on gmod, just like running the server for a few pals now and then.. If I went back to these weapons I could theoretically remove the part of the code that marks whether they are shop items or not..

But realistically I'm unlikely to. You can learn about decompiling mods using "gmad" by googling and a number of great articles and videos on it, from there you can alter the files and re-upload your own version of the TTT M9K weapons. Sorry.

If I go back to using these weapons I can have a look, but I'm strapped for time right now :) Thanks for commenting!

Heyo, this works great so far, only nitpick is, that it gives out a warning on the start of every round:

Interesting, I haven't found this myself.. Is it tied to any specific map or any other weapon spawning or modifying mods?

I hold no ownership over this so please do as you'd like! Ah, but.. I do not have the older version. Now that I know of the firerate modifier, thanks to you, I may also go back to h@mer's and re add and rebalance some guns. Fine work!

Thank you for getting back to me. I took some time to learn more about gmod lua scripting and found that the value "SWEP.Primary.Delay" is actually what defines the RPM in seconds (most guns are stuck at 0.15 because that is the value in the base file). I was able to change the RPM by adding this value to each gun's lua file and either lowering or raising it.

I want to re-add snipers and try to play with the values on them to balance them a bit. Do you still have the older versions of this addon or should I be fine if I use h@mer's upload and just add the sniper luas to my edit of your addon?

Thank you for making this btw! It has spiced up my ttt server for my friends. :happy_creep:

I actually also found this. As I effectively borrowed this mod from another user who modded these m9k guns to work in TTT, I have also found no success in trying to alter firerates. Especially for the smgs and such. It must be wired deeper, as we've found the same weird problem.

Most of these weapons are on the same rpm and shoot pretty slow. Is this intentional? I tried changing RPM in the shared.lua files but it doesn't work.

I did in fact take them out, every single one was inherently flawed with imperfect accuracy that i couldn't adjust!! It was really weird, but might have something to do with how I personally only host locally, not on a dedicated machine.

don't know if you still keep up with this, but i've found that the sniper rifles don't show up in TTT. I looked in the files and found that while the VMT files for them are there, the LUA files aren't for any of them. The guns that are there show up just fine, but i was wondering if you left out the snipers on purpose or if it's something else.

They may do, it depends on how the maps are set up. If the spawnscript has random weapon slots then the m9k weapons will appear. If they do not, they won't. Google about spawnscripts if you want m9k weapons on certain maps on your server.

It does in fact include all of the guns featured in the M9K Assault Rifles, Heavy Weapons and Small arms packs. Including the double barrel. (which is a fun gun.)

wow, i was looking for that thing for a very long time. Thanks a lot, works well, but i have a question. Does your pack include double barrel shotgun from m9k pack, cause i havent seen it yet

I'm afraid not, eco. All the coding added to this pack just modifies the original M9K weapons to work with TTT. The M9K packs on their own should work with sandbox though! (those things in the "required items" box)

@xXTIME3SXxcutiebitch - I'm sure you can find it yourself, but this mod will not enable the Specialties pack to work in TTT - and it likely never will, because I'm only really modding for my own server. Apologies! There are other M9K Specialties TTT conversions, though, have a look around.
