It's just been an awesomely effective platform for taking out POIs. I prefer to take them on with HVs (I know there is a whole crowd of people shaking their head right now) and this tank is really effective, it is getting a bit dated though.. needs a refresh.

@Trixie The sinking issue is a server sync thing, happens to my mate when he has crappy latency, never happens to me when using the same vehicles. You can test the vehicles in SP to be sure. Good Luck

@Trixie, I don't think there is anything you could do about that. It's just how the current physics work for HV's in the game, unless the hover pods are to high up in the build. It tends to raise up to 3 meters from the bottom of the hover pads (I might be using the wrong name) If they are on the bottom and level (front and back) it should coast across the water fine if you are not too low. I've removed the boosters from both tanks and they perform optimally now TYVM for the speedy response!

Another question please :D - any workaround i can do so my HVs stop sinking on water? Maybe its a server thing idk

@Trixie, thanks for the comment. I am aware of the issues. Last night I fixed the Anubis-AT and patched the post. The problem is with alpha 8.5, the hover boosters are broken and cause this issue. To fix the Anubis, remove the two hover boosters on the ceiling in the back room area. With the Basilisk, also remove the hover booster, but I believe it is on the bottom. I will have to get a patch out to this as well. Hopefully tonight. Thanks again.

First thanks for EVERY bp you've created - I love them all - a true master builder!

I'm having issues w both this tank and the Anubis :( They constantly go from 30mph to 2 to 30 to 2 etc. It's quite annoying and makes me not want to use HVs at all. I'm trying to figure out if its me doing something wrong. Ideas?

@Myrmidon, I really wish there was an option to release seperate varients of the same thing that all register as one item and not as seperate creations. It's getting to the point where every thing that is made could easily have 2 or 3 varients depending on material, weapons, etc., especially with HV's. But I don't want to spam the workshop with all kinds of versions of the same thing. I did it a couple times before with some ships, but I don't like to. That being said, I do realize I could switch this to combat armor now and pretty much double the strength. I just don't know how that would effect the thrust and performance yet. I will think on it. Any chance to convert the block to the new hull combat type? With commands ofcourse. Might help you reduce block ammount after due to new blocks have more HP.

Thanks dave. On the radar, no real reason. Some added deco I suppose. I read that someday the radar might actually do something, but right now it was just to look pretty. I designed this to hold 2x artillery but then realized the game only allows one on a HV or SV. Two only on CV's, so I removed one and put a radar dish there. lol. Thanks again :)

I took it against some POIs and it did nice. Most importantly it is fun. Only question is, why obstruct the artillery turret with the radar like so? Makes it difficult to aim. Either way it is not a hard fix and like I said very fun. Thanks!

@A. Max. For whatever reason, when I did the thruster covers in a update, I made the choice not to add them over the 4 thrusters near the cockpit area. I am not sure why now. And yes, I forgot to add fridges. It was for a contest/challenge and I was making sure I meet what it required, and it didn't list fridges so I wasn't thinking about them I guess. I should do a another quick update to it. Thanks again.

You forgot to cover up thrusters, which are right beside the pilot seat (there's 4 on each side)

@Jaguar1965, I think you have to tear it apart. That's a good question. In my testing/checking out workshop items, I spawned things and now want to get rid or them, but don't how besides using a multi-tool, and don't bother because that can take for ever. In creative mode you can however use the N tool to make a big box and delete everything in it.

OK, another question, probably stupid, but Oh well, is there any way to recycle a whole ship into the factory for parts, or do I have to manually tear it apart? as in, can I plop the carapce into the cerberus factory build, without tearing it to pieces?

It doesn't need fridges. Seriously, I left my base at 500 health, took out all the POI's on Akua with this thing, in one trip, the ammo boxes were totally full. Planted cores in all of them, and when I got back I was at 126, and had eaten a can of vegies while I was out playing the destroyer of worlds. Drone base, comm center, fortress, and space port. All wasted, and turned to the dark side.

Thanks Gilderan! LOL. One of my biggest inspirations in these builds is from the "Aliens" movies. I love that plausable military intimidating look I guess you could say. As another author said, Grim look. Thank again!
