good map
I was going to mention a few things.
but Prototype said them 1st. exept this:
at the end you can open the exit without the reflection cube.
I left a portal in the previous chamber, where the laser goes into the portable panel.
so I used that laser & fired the other portal on 1 angled panel in the exit chamber,
to place laser from previous chamber, into the laser catcher, that opens the exit door.
I could have done what I think you intended & brought back the reflection cube & used the laser in the exit room & 2 angled portable panels, to direct the laser into the laser catcher.
so 2 solutions here.

good fun / confusing / challenging.
crossing the goo took me a while to figure.
but a good solution :)
thumbs up

I have a new map. when you get time, please let me know what you think:

It will be a pleasure

thank you, the redirection cubes i have used just make sure that when you use the lasers it keeps it out of your way as much as possible to give you more room to walk about and explore the level, this was meant to be much more a cognitive work out than one of danger, and the usless passages are there to get back if you need to! I will have a look at your maps at some point in the near future!

Pretty map. I spent a lot of time in the 2nd room. Bravo, it was hard enough. I thought it was necessary to use the blue gel in this room because I accidently put this gel on the wall in front of the glass platform.
I guess you like the laser redirection cubes because there is more than necessary
I also think I use it on my shelves for decorating :)))

I also see two passages useless, it should be for fun!

as for completing the chamber without the horizontal laser i assume you are using one of the vertical ones to the same effect, so one again, you are solving the chamber as intended, just using different elements to achieve the same effect so that again isnt a huge issue...I have always believed that people can complete the map how they want (as long as a huge loop hole isnt evidednt which means they miss some content) If I start blocing people from doing this and that then eventually I will be leading them by the nose saying "here is a portable surface...oh and you can only see one more there..." so If people find an alternate solution to achieve the same effect in game as I intended at that point in time, then all is fine with me, 2 solutions to the same end, still get you to the same place all be it in a slightly different way.

I have just published a new one called "Don't Touch The Floor" it's a fairly hard map, not in the puzzle solution, but in the placing of portals in the time you have, hmm good point about the button I put it there incase you wanted to go back I guess, it did have a purpose I am sure of it, I just can't remember what now, being able to hit the laser catcher with out using the hidden cubes isnt too much of an issue to be honest, its the same result either way and it dosent actually change the puzzle in any way at all, shortening the walk isnt possible really, its just far enough away so the walkway and the chambers dont merge, although there is a way I could change it to make it less of a walk if there is enough entitiy space left.

In the second room with the orange gel, you can hit the laser reciever that turns on the gel directly without using the button or hidden cubes this should be easy to fix.
In the third room, I do not understand the point of the button connected to a timed panel (to the right of the entry), it lets you go back, but you can just go back the way you came in? (Also it is a very long walk between the orange gel chamber and the laser chamber, is it possible to make it shorter?)
You can complete the third (laser) chamber without the use of the horizonal laser.

I like your solution to the glass panel jump loop-hole. If you make any new chambers I would be happy to play them for you :)

ok if you forget the cube in the third room, there is a way to get beck into the room (an off shoot from the main passage lets you get back into the room) I have now re-configured the light transporter section so you can get back to the main passage and thus back to the third room to retireve the cube if you forgot it!

thats alright, people who flag up problems help a lot for any chamber designer, and the community allways finds new ways to break chambers, or fids a loop hole you have missed, I think the problem of building a chamber is you know how it is supposed to be solved, and miss the obvious when playing through, no matter how any times you go into your own chamber, there will always be something you miss!

You have fixed most of the problems and the return route helps lots. Although I don't think you fixed number 3, when you leave the cube in the third room without placing a portal to retrieve it you cannot go back, you end up trapped, unable to go through the puzzles again without it, and unable to go back down the funnel to get it.
Also now that you have added the escape route the button down the bottom of the first hole, that flips two panels to let you get out, is no longer neccessary.
Another easy solution you have created is in the second room, you no longer need the orange gel, at all !! You can jump (with the cube) from the high glass platform, you added, across to the laser platform without using the gel.

I'm sorry for listing all the problems, but it should help you (and maybe me) make better test chambers :)

had enough entity count left so added the cleansing gel anyway!

hmm ok, so I need to look for ways of connecting the rooms with each other, via an escape route...I will look into this, and if you do get blue gell on it, there is always the fizzler, I have put in a dropper in the first room, so if the cube is destroyed, then you can get a new one!

One more thing before I forget, another possible problem could be if you coated the reflective cube with the blue gel, you wouldn't be able to put it down and would have to restart the level. I am not sure of a good solution for this, maybe adding some cleaning gel or a button to get a new reflective cube, or even a fizzler so the player could get a new cube without restarting.

Ok, I eventually finished it but it was quite long. Here are the problems I found: 1. you can get yourself trapped if you take the redirection cube to the second room (with portals) before getting the second weighted cube (above the laser), I did this first because I couldn't work out how to get the second cube. You end up trapped in the second room with no way to get back, the door which you come in through shuts, this required me to restart. 2. In the third room, if you don't use the second laser to open the door at the end of the funnel and then jump into the funnel, you become trapped with no way to get back down, requires restart or noclip. 3. Finally if you don't make a portal in the third room to get the redirection cube back into the intial room, then you are also trapped with no way to get back to the cube, also requires a restart or noclip.

Apart from those problems, I liked the concept, and the laser challenges were quite interesting especially in the third room. :)
