Villamar, incluso los Spartans se mueren de una bazooka no manches, el mod es para hacerte más resistente, no inmortal... pero hay otra versión en la workshop con más resistencia si eso te gusta...

a mi me esta funcionando. lo que si quiera es poder agregarle mas vida al escudo. si me dan con un misil igual muero. no se si es por que la explosión pasa el escudo o el escudo no aguanta.

The SE Devs should make the texture a bit nicer then add this to base game.

(Sorry if the texture thing was considered rude btw, but I think the colors are a bit too harsh, and knowing keen they'd probably make it a bit more transparent, and a lighter blue to match the rest of the game)

Could we get a more expensive version that has more shield health? The normal one is effectively useless against anything Weapon Core.

@ Meridius_IX / Lucas when I have a shield generator in my inventory and i shift click a second one into my inventory the second ceases to exist, as far a i can tell. Is the a log i could send to help find a fix? If so, where/how would i find that log?

.... does this still work? I've tried some self testing and it doesn't seem to be active. My power drains and I get a notification stating it's charging/fully charge but damage seems the same.

Would it be possible to make advanced, enhanced and elite models of this at higher and higher resource costs? And possibly make it wear down over time and have to be replaced. If not that's fine, it's great as it is also!

Is there a player battery pack, that does the exact same thing as oxygen and hydrogen bottles, but it does it for energy instead?

I play the game alone on survival and this is absolutely critical to not dying when random NPC ships fire anything in my direction if I happen to be outside anything. Love this mod! It is the only one that affects player character survivability.

Ah lovely. I do wish there was a way to have it visible at all times with adjustable coloring, but I imagine that's alot to get going for this.

Only appears when taking damage, and I am pretty sure it absorbs fall damage (to a certain extent) as it will absorb small impacts in space from me going to fast. A fast impact will still kill you.

Is there supposed to be a visual effect for when it's fully charged like the image? Or does the shield only appear when taking damage? Also fall damage, does it get absorbed by the shield as well or only other damage types that arent physics based?

And yes, shield has a "health". You will understand energy level of your shield by color when recieve damage.

Is there shield health in this mod? Or does it simply ignore damage from certain sources when fully charged?

Also, is there a way to stop this from going into container when Alt+MMB? None of the other tools that I have do, only this one.

I use, well... used it and when it finishes a charge or takes any damage I get a short but brief lag spike in single player. Took me a week to narrow it to this mod. Its a shame such a great mod, but it MUST conflict with something, maybe another mod I have (to many to list). :/

@Obinice - Mod still works fine. The item is built in the Assembler under the 'Tools' category.

@InsKill - I've had some weird issues, including crashes, when I tried to change this to one of those types. I may try again at some point though.

@ Meridius_IX / Lucas Can you change item type of ShieldGen like bottles or weapons? Because if use Easy Inventory mod, ShieldGen goes like component and transfer to external inventory.

there is a mod where you can craft medkits and energy packs...or get to an station and buy them :3
