In the templates section i have to scroll down a lot to see all the templates like the infantry one is top, and than have to drag down the page to see the others and kavalry is all the way down

unit stat descriptions are black text on a black background making them unreadable for me too.

Apparently the contrast change was done on purpose? If so that really should be a sub-mod.

I found that this mod in particular blacks out the naval stats screen in the ship builder. Bad Mod!

I used to like your mods, I truly did, but with every update the MPU mods change something they didn't before, those changes are not listed anywhere, and makes compatibility with other mods impossible because you never know exactly what this mod does until you install and try it yourself... These MPU mods have been the cause for many visual glitches and odd features for too long, and I'm sad to say, you've lost a subscriber...Not only for this mod, but for all of the MPU mods! Disabling all your mods was the only thing that allowed me to play this game without any visual and/or compatibility issues

I have the same problem @olsson.kindgren has. While trying to figure out which of the dozens of mods (including other MPU mods) I had turned on caused the problem, turning just this one mod off and leaving all of the rest on resolved the problem.

I'm not sure how land unit division icons could possibly affect the naval unit designer stat screen, but it does. I blame Paradox. Tastes like chicken.

@Pacemaker: I've had a few requests to add the regiment echelon back in to the division icons but in order to do so, I've had to remove a few of the existing units (div icons are limited to a total of 1024). After doing a bit of a survey with my LAN mates, I tried to pick those that we all used the least... which ended up being the HQ and training icons (they were a bit niche), the fortress garrison icon (most of us just used an alternative colour), the jaeger and jungle infantry (we mostly used the green / olive infantry icons instead), and amphibious and modern armour.

@olsson.kindgren: In attempt to make them easier to read, I have inverted the stats everywhere so it's light text on a dark background... if you can list all the mods you use, I'll see if it's clashing with something else

The new version deletes the statistics for divisions and ships in the production section.

@Shavius: For the AI, you will normally just see the standard unit icon (i.e. what you get if you choose the default unit icon for a division). Having said that, if you're using any mods that create custom divisions templates that select a custom icon for them, it's possible that they'll end up with an icon that doesn't match. (It's really only total overhaul mods that have their own division icons where you'll see this)

@Ishimaru Mitsuki: Unfortunately I've had to modify the mapicons.gui to account for the extra height in my division icons (unit echelon above the icon), making it incompatible with most map counter mods... which is why I decided to add my own map counter mods, since it's easy for me to maintain compatibility between my own mods.

I.e. MPU - Map Counters (S) / (M) / (L) are compatible with this, most other map counter mods won't be.

@mpu.daemos Happy to report that having tested the following mods: MPU Base Mod, MPU Division Icons - NATO like counters, MPU Theatre Icons (L), and MPU Theatre Icons More Colours, everything is working as intended, and all is well.

I did however come across an issue regarding the mod 12 Support Companies and MPU Division Icons - NATO like counters. With both mods enabled, the selected Army divisions list icons are overlapped and squashed slightly as outlined in the linked image here: https://imgur.com/SaPsMIK

Without MPU Div Icons, they appear normal. Not a huge deal-breaker, given I can live without 12 Support Companies, but worth bringing to your attention none the less.

Other than that, great work daemos. Thanks for the update!

After testing all (I hope) of the various combinations, I've just updated the base mod, division icons, unit icons and S, M, L counter mods to fix various offset issues (and the horrible resized vanilla icons in the M and L counter mods).

If anyone is still having problems, let me know what combination of mods you're using

Can confirm what Baldos is reporting regarding the inclusion of MPU Division Icons - NATO like counters. Without them, the division icons on the map counter sit nice and centered properly. With the mod added, they sink half-way down.

Enabling MPU Map Counters (S) corrects the problem, but sadly for me I just find the entire counter a little too big for my liking and prefer the vanilla size. I also have no idea if MPU Map Counters (S) conflicts in any way with other mods such as Strategic View Adjustments.

When I tried "MPU-Map Counter (M) the NATO symbols were off center to the top of the counter.
without "MPU-Map Counter " the NATO symbols were off center to the bottom of the counter.

Just in case anyone else runs into the issue I was having where the game would randomly hitch any time an event happened for you or the AI, try restarting your PC. Fixed the issue completely for me. Not sure why it fixed it, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@mpu.daemos it shows up when I start with a new game with both this mod-"MPU Division Icons - NATO like counters" only and with this mod and the "MBU base mod"

The nato symbols were always centered prior to the Jul 12th update.

@Metal Izanagi: not sure about the slowdowns... although I did have some compatibility issues with KR in the past due to inclusion of militia as a unit type (of all things). When I get a chance, I'll double check that I haven't broken militia in KR, I guess it might cause a slow down looking for a missing texture maybe???

The blurry textures are definitely a thing though... one of my mates wanted to use the Medium counters but I'd only had time to finish the small version. Since I didn't have my tools with me to build the actual medium sized icons, I quickly resized them all in photoshop so we could get on with a game. I'll update again soonish with some proper / non-scaled icons

With the addition of the base mod as a prerequisite I'm noticing some strange slowdown in Kaiserreich. Haven't added, removed, or changed anything with mods since the last time I was playing a couple of days ago, but now every few days in-game it freezes for about 8-10 seconds, usually at either 22:00, 24:00, or 1:00. Logs don't indicate anything weird going on, either.

Is it possible that this is the result of any of the changes made for the recent update?

Additionally, when using the medium map counter mod the default icons appear on the counters for the divisions AI nations use,(since they don't use your new division icons) but now look really low-res and off-center.

@Baldos: does it do it for a new game or just when you load your save? I've seen some weird stuff happen when you a load a game saved when you were using a different mod version.
