@maddogmog55: while the normal Division Icons mod was set as a dependency for this mod, the More Is More and No Echelon division icons weren't... Since you're using the More is More mod, it's possible the mods were just loading in the wrong order. I've added dependencies for the other division icons mods to this and the map counters mods, so try it now and see if it works any better.

Failing that, try enabling just the base mod and theatre icons. Assuming that works okay, add the others one at a time to see if you can work out which mod is breaking things

Maybe I'm missing something but for this mod, I keep getting a dog with headphones in my bottom Army assignments window. When I put an army in there and assign a general, the dog stays in the window and no general appears. When I mouse over the dog, it does give me the army information. I disabled all mods except for mpu.daemos mods. Am I missing something????

I asked below, but I do not believe the issue has been answered.

Recon supt units in the last DLC have been overhauled from only one Recon support company, to four supt recon companies (each with their own icon) .

1. Cavalry recon
2. Lt Armor (armored cars)
3. Motorized recon
4. Armored recon.

This is the reason that I believe the Support recon companies are not correctly selectable in the division designer. I cannot see these mods functioning correctly unless Icons for these four new unit types are created and added to the Core, Division, and possibly even the Theater mods since the problem was still there with only the core and theater mods active on my system.

However, the issue while the theater mod was active, could have been due to the icons not being in the Core mod, and had nothing to do with the theater mod.

Did you upload new versions of all the mods? Or, just a few of them?

I only ask because the following mods show they were last updated on steam in Dec 2019, and you mentioned below that you had issues during uploading due to the interface.

Theater: S, M, Less
Div: More, No Echelon

I do like your mods, and feel that they are essential for the game to feel right. The vanilla Icons are way too cartoonish. IMO.

Had Base, Div, and Theater mods active first. Then disabled Div and Theater seperately and checked for the same issue for/with each. Both caused the issue.

@c.whipple: Do you have the "MPU Base Mod" installed or the division icons / unit icons installed also? I've tested with the all together but only checked one or two combinations with and without the various mods...

There seems to be an issue with some of the support companies not showing up in the division designer. It seems to vary between template types (Inf, Mot, etc). Since there are several different types of recon supt units now (Cav, Lt Arm, etc), could that have any bearing on this issue?

I do like your mods. They are what the game should have been when shipped.

for some reason i dont get all the icons for the ships.

the display only shows the og amount of icons and doesnt expand to the one shown in the pictures

okay, apparently you can't modify the mod_name.mod and descriptor.mod files while the launcher / mod tools are open... it only loads info for your mods when you first open the mod tools. Closing the whole thing and restarting them seems to have done the trick, so now the (S) and (L) theatre mods are different mods again...

I wonder what other mods have been borked up while trying to upload them?

Ermm, somehow it had uploaded the (S) version into both (L) and (S)... don't know how that's even possible. Simply re-uploading the (L) version without any changes appears to have fixed it. Let me know if there's further issues

What's going on with the links? When I click the link for MPU Theatre Icons (L) - NATO like counters I am sent to this page, which is the (S) version. And I was subscribed to the (L) version, but all I get in game are the small icons.

@FistFullOBeer: While I was planning to no longer maintain the Less is More version, it's occurred to me that the only difference between the main mod and the cut down version is the cut-down list of icons... and that's it's merging the changes into the UI etc. and not the icons themselves that takes up all the time when updating for a new PDX patch. So, I'll be updating the Less is More version to the latest patch along with the other mods soonish (hopefully before this weekend)

Love the mod - thanks for doing this. Although I still prefer the Less is More version. In my games I won't have time or need for all these icons, and just being to find the ones I like fast is important to me.

@Abu Hajar: Kaiserreich and Fuhrerreich compatibility are both on the to-do list...

Prior to MTG, most of my mods were KR compatible but I haven't checked them against anything other than vanilla and Black Ice since.

@Mr. J: That's the background of the Theatre window... the vanilla game has a fully transparent background so you can't use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down. Hopefully It shouldn't be so distracting once you have some theatres set up

@captain403: Yep, that's the idea. At the moment all three sizes are exported from the same source material but I'll make some alternative text for the small versions rather than replacing the current text. I might play around with different fonts / sizes / all caps etc. to see if I can make it a bit more readable though.

I like the location icons. I would ask, that for this (large) version, you leave the full name instead of abbreviations it that won't stuff up the medium and small versions.

Oh and most importantly, I've added a non-transparent background to the theatre window container so you can now actually use the mouse wheel to quickly scroll up and down the theatres 8-)

Added more numbered, lettered and roman numeral icons back in. Also added a bunch of location named icons. (although given the text gets a bit unreadable in the M and S versions of this mod, I might look at changing them to abbreviations / acronyms so I can use a bigger font)

@captain403: I'll add checking compatibility with Fuhrerriech to the to-do list... I haven't used it myself but if it's a total overhaul mod, we're likely both modding the same files. If it's just the theatre windows, I can probably make it compatible by ensuring it loads before my mods so I can overwrite the theatre windows. There may be problems with the naval equipment role icons if it mods the ship designer window though...

This mod doesn't seem to like Fuhrerriech :(

A lot of icons don't appear in the selection screen. Applies to both army and navy. I have the new base mod active.
