Blindrun
This map is actually fairly easy but I'm just dumb and didn't see the method to get the cube onto the exit button even though I had it set up not long after reaching the top area (then I discarded it and bounced around like a moron for several minutes afterward before revisiting the idea and discovered how stupid I was).

I was thinking about it wrong at first, since I thought I needed to use the momentum from respawn to get the cube through the fizzler. Just couldn’t figure out how to delay the cube’s drop or keep its momentum while keeping the portals since it doesn’t auto-respawn. I needed to press the button and somehow get up there to stand on the button to disable the fizzler, but that would require usage of portals that would make my effort to respawn the cube pointless, so I was stumped for some time. While messing around, I found the proper way to do it, which is more typical for harder maps tbh.

I will say that, therefore, I don’t ever recall using the big portal surface on the floor below the fizzler. Seems like somewhat of a red herring, if you ask me - unless what I thought I had to do first was actually the intended means and I found a non-cheesy alternate solution!

Difficulty: 6/10 (only a personal score...)
Enjoyed: 7.5/10

9. Don't get the funnel, just paste another portal to go back up the ledge by portal.
10. Go drop alcove's fizzler again so you can post a portal there, in the middle of the wall this time.
11. Go get hold of the funnel, respawn cube, and time it so Cube rest up there.
12.I leave the last step to you.

Nice hard casual to ease back to the game.

Solution:
1. Go drop the Cube, you need respawn it often.
2. Take cube to the pit that drops the fizzler in front of funnel, sit the Cube on it.
3. With fizzler dropped, you go by portal from the pit to the fizzler, then drop back down to main section.
4. Respawn Cube, sit it to the button right next to the dropper.
5. Go up by the Piston Platform, funnel yourself across.
6. Go being fizzed to the ledge with 2 buttons.
7. Stand on dropping fizzler to the alcove and paste a portal there.[/spoiler8. Drop back down, respawn, and take it to pit button so you can get hold of funnel.

There's a bit of repetativeness in this one, dragging the cube from one place to another over and over. That made me think it's not one of your better puzzles but for what it is, it's good enough, so - thumbs up.

My fear of fizzlers really cost me a lot of time on this one :P Great stuff

Challenging logic. Great puzzle.

Great puzzle! Really enjoyed the portal management and having to lose your portals as part of the solution Thumbs up and favorite :)

Thanks for the comment :)

This chamber and about half of them are from a solution concept that I want to employ, then built around that concept; the other half of chambers are just me placing random elements around based on what I'm feeling and forcing myself to make a good puzzle from it.

Brilliant recursive logic - I am in awe of your test making talents. Really made me think. I was just at the point of thinking there might be a brute force solution like throwing or launching the cube rather than the sublimely elegant real solution when the answer hit me suddenly. Did it take you a while to come up with this or did you have the concept already and just built the test elements around it? Excellent job - Bravo Zulu.

Aww thanks c:

The only reason your maps do not get high scores is that those who can not solve yours do not give you score or give thumbs down. They're nothing but stupid freaks.

I enjoyed it. Thumbs up.

Must have taken me 30 min before I realized I didn't need to throw the cube anywhere. After I stopped doing it, the puzzle wasn't as difficult as I thought. Still difficult though. Thx.

I understand your position, however, I wasn't suggesting deepening anything, just making it harder to throw to the upper platform by trimming back the white floor and taking away the grate on the floor under the platform. Anyone trying to toss a cube up there would likely run right into the water.
Gigo  [author] 21 Mar, 2018 @ 9:54am
As long as people know that it's not intended to throw a cube, it's fine; I don't put too much effort into preventing seemingly obvious unintended solutions. If I wanted to people to throw the cube up, I would've made it lower by 1 block so you can just place it up. Besides, I think the map would look a lot worse if the pit were deeper, but thanks for your suggestion :)
dven1 21 Mar, 2018 @ 7:01am
Nice logic map, well made and sufficiently lit. Yeah, I saw the possibility of tossing the cube too, (a two block toss isn't too hard) but I knew it was unintended so I didn't try to do it. Enjoyable map, satisfying to solve. Thanks for your efforts.

Maybe if you took away 1 block of the white floor nearest that platform and also took away the grate under that platform players couldn't toss the cube from back on the floor. You can still make the jump from up there to a shortened floor. (I'm no mapper so there may be problems with that solution, just trying to be helpful.)
Gigo  [author] 17 Mar, 2018 @ 8:51am
That's unintended; I'm aware that it's possible to throw cubes up that high, but trying to prevent solutions based on that just makes the chamber look too big.
benvent 17 Mar, 2018 @ 7:34am
I dont think i solved as intended. I tossed the cube to the upper ledge

I was sure the cube will auto-spawn....:p2wheatley:
Fun map!

This one felt a lot like 'Demensionality' except with a funnel instead of a bridge. :)
A definite thumbs up!

Loved it. Nice puzzle. Took about 10 min for but I'm a dope.
