Thanks so very much! It took a heck of a long time to build and refine...glad it's fun.
Thank you for asking after the mod. I've been behind on porting since working on my quest mod. Once it's done, I will get to it. Hoping for the turn of the year.
Falling through the floor eh? I have trouble with that from time to time in the Cistern. A cleaner save solves my problem, but if I figure it out, i'll let you know.
I don't have the Dawnguard or Dragonborn DLCs, only Hearthfire; Are there any issues without those two? * I haven't yet subscribed because I'm still figuring out what mods I want. *
Thanks again, this is so beautiful!!
I'm glad you like the mod. Thanks for trying it out. I will try to get around to making the workbench disappear when you remove the vanilla bench ( does it do that already? It's been a while, you see) and the test chest...ha...ha... I do forget to remove them....please fee free to delete it with the console command. I'm just super-occupied with my big quest mod .....
That's a great idea! Building a memorial in game....I'd have to make a character that repairs old Dwemer artifacts and name him Morton.
Hey, if you use Windstad, you could lay them all down in the creepy Daedric mausoleum. I should put a shelf to place all those random skulls...like an ossuary.
Glad to be back...all this social isolation has to be good for something and that something is modding! I know you'll sympathise with me when I tell you I also lost my Dad. He fell and broke his hip mid December, and passed away on January 10th. it was not out of season, but sooner than I'd thought. Glad he missed the COVID though. How are you?
Look for the urn! (mantle piece)
Choose one version of Summerset Cabin; (one is for vanilla weather the other includes COT) Same with the Breezehome mod. The Simple Hearthfires Breezehome Basement is the most complete mod, and the DLC goes with it. Choose either Breezehome enchanting, according to how many DLC's you have...a tiny but truly useful mod.
Finally, the Queen of Thieves and the Brynjolf has Time mods stand alone, but also work together. There are several older versions of "Brynjolf" posted but not public. The public version, is the most up to date. I am currently working on a large expansion of this mod, with multiples quests. Lots of treasure, fights dungeons and lots of new dialogue for the members of the Thieves Guild. Even a few original fully voiced characters. It will take time but it'll be worth it!
You are most kind! I'm delighted you like the mods. I'm guessing we speak the same language in terms of appreciating a vanilla look and feel, but more interaction. Of course, all my mods work together, but just make sure you have only one version of each.
There are a couple of suites of mods that are updates, but I haven't taken down the original in case a Player is using it. The "Additions" mods - main house, basement and DLC - are the same as the "Additions to Lakeview" suite (house and DLC) except with the other two homes also treated, so I would recommend these newer, more complete versions. Look for "Windstad, Lakeview and Heljarchen in the name, except for the DLC, which is "...to the Hearthfires Homes". (This is because I've only completed Lakeview here.)
Yes, I too get a warning in CK about Heljarchen but it's as clean as I can make it. It's most likely the issue of having to disable the wall so you can walk through the doorway. Most of the mod is original, so conflicts are usually few.
Thanks for the feedback! Always good to know.
Please excuse me for taking so long to reply. January was very hectic. Thank you for taking the time to write. I really like the basements myself...and just loathed the vanilla decor. The game in general is gorgeous, but there are places that nevertheless feel like people just ran out of time. The banner display makes me happy. It was a suggestion from a Skyrim friend of mine, Roy D. Loudbark.
Ha..ha.. ha! Great to hear! I love the banners and teh Windstad shrine - go the idea for the banners from a friend adn my husband sugested the shrine. Nice and creepy. Glad it's working for you.:)
Je suis ravi que vous ayez trouvé ce mod à votre goût. Le kit de création est tellement amusant. Oui, posez-moi s'il vous plaît une question si vous rencontrez des problèmes. Je vais essayer de répondre dans les meilleurs délais.
I'm delighted you like the mod. Thanks for taking the time to write. This suite took me more than a year....I needed more mannequins too! I try to keep the feeling vanilla though, because, like you, I really admire the original designer's work.
Yes, that is easily remedied. I'll make a note and try to do that soon.
Could I please ask you to make sure the box is checked under "data" when you start the game. You may have subbed, but it hasn't been automatically marked as active. You should see a pair of Dwemer pipes hanging over the forge too (even if you've not built in there yet).
Does the bench appear in either Heljarchen or Windstad? Is Lakeview the only location affected?
I've not the foggiest....I didn't touch the main enchanting table and I've no idea why the workbenches would appear in the grey-space. I'd check load order with LOOT or somesuch (always helps me...). I didn't touch any of the wings except the main floor bedroom and central hall, just so you could use other mdos....
Wish I could help you.
