If you want to use the utopian mod, then yes. If not, just sub to my original mod.

the only two things you should be subbed to are this mod and utopia if I am understanding.

Oh my I see where there could be some confusion. Thanks for this man.

*The Utopian Dream mod I mean, not the Utopia DLC.
MaxRavenclaw  [author] 20 Mar, 2018 @ 11:12am
No, you either use my original mod or this one if you use Utopia.

I use your ascension perk compatability, but do I need the original? Or is this just a patch? Your description isnt clear.

I do use Utopian Dream... and some assorted patches, but not this patch. Do i need this patch?
MaxRavenclaw  [author] 18 Mar, 2018 @ 10:51am
Oh, that. OK. Done.

You still haven't added the required mods.

I'm not sure I understand. You said that only the mod name matters, not the folder name, and I said that both the mod name and the folder name are the same, and that the (2.0) only appears in the title here.
AlphaAsh 18 Mar, 2018 @ 3:57am
I was confirming, not refuting.
MaxRavenclaw  [author] 18 Mar, 2018 @ 1:11am
Fair enough, regardless, only the title on steam has the 2.0, not the mod name and folder.
AlphaAsh 17 Mar, 2018 @ 10:49am
It's the mod's name that matters, not the folder.
MaxRavenclaw  [author] 17 Mar, 2018 @ 8:56am
@Alpha The folder doesn't have (2.0) in the name. It starts with MaxRavenclaw. The 2.0 is just in the title.

@Ana If you want to be able to get both biologic and psionic ascension, but you don't use the Utopian Dream mod, get this: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1162131850&tscn=1507653871

(2.0) as the prefix should ensure that your mod takes priority. IIRC a brace is just as good as a !.

When making compatibility patches, you should make the mods that are being patched a requirement for your mod. Otherwise you make the original authors check to see if you've just tweaked their stuff and re-published it.

Well, this obviously covers a lot. Looks like you have some serious intimate knowledge with these mods. So coming from someone like me that has zero knowledge... I mean, lol, I'm going to be doing only my second game coming up here in a day or so... what all do I need to DL to get my perks to work right and be able to modify a psionic path?

I'm not too sure what I just wrote, because I've not done it, but Ive decided to play as the Elves of Stellaris Lunari and want to be able to take a Psychic path, and biologically alter my species... but may have read the two are mutually exclusive. Can you explain this a little and make clear the mods I need to install? Thank you so much!
