interestingly this only happens if i convert them from a different format, if i download them from bandcamp in any of the formats it offers they'll work fine, as long as the game supports that particular format
unfortunately opus, which is what surviving mars uses, is not one of the options

the mod's been working fine all along, it's just those few tracks that refuse to play
they refuse to play in other games i've tried them with so i'm thinking it might be a drm issue

Both of your radio stations are outstanding, I love them! Switching between the two, they are my soundtrack to colonising and terraforming Mars! I've been 'Shazaming' nearly every track and building an IRL playlist with them. Thank you so much for your work

The text-to-speech could work I think. It'd be lame passing it off as human but with the correct phrasing and a tiny bit of processing it'd feel like the radio station is hosted by an AI which would be very fitting.

yeah the dj would either be voiced by text to speech, or me and my norwegian accent

on a related note, i've started trying out ways to do contextual radio broadcasts
if i could figure that out, that would be pretty awesome
