I anxiously hope that BarbieGirl will update this one like she did the Dome-buildings mod which works very well right now. *twists hands anxiously*

I'll tell you what... These "outdome" factories are a lifesaver. Now I can balance jobs, resources, and output without sacrificing dome sanity by building sufficient gardens and such so the people can play, exercise, and just wander about in scenic beauty. Previously there wasn't enough room to build houses and indoor factories and still have enough butts to put in seats to support the economy. These work great!

Not sure where to ask this, are the reseach scanners effected by the tech that takes away their electric cost and maintenance?

Most likely because I only changed it in the last mod update.
I am planning a config menu so you can "cheat" to just unlock them though for those that want it.

All outdoors factories don't work.
I will do the researches but it's strange because I already built some of them.

what exactly is not working? if you cannot see the factories, then check below, as someone had the same issue. They require the factory technologies to unlock.

I just started a new game and the buildings didn't show up anymore.

I don't know why, maybe the recent game update? I didn't change anything on my side that I know of.

Yeah sorry but you are wrong. It DOES work, 100%. The UI is not updated which I said below, which is just the UI, it's visual. Not sure how that is so hard to understand.

Anyway, doesn't matter anymore, because I now updated it so the UI shows it as well. Like that "Medical Researcher" mod you referenced.

No it does not because the total value of RP doesn't change at all.

In case of other mod "Medical Researcher" where it seems to work, the Total value of RP is always modified even through the listing of all partial values isn't correct - it's missing the value for additional gain.

With your mod it doesn't behave like that.

It does work, I have tested it multiple times.
The display thing is something I noticed as well, but I cannot even begin to figure out how it is controlled right now. If I find out, I will fix it.
Until then, you can be assured the research does work. It is just a display thing.

are you going to fix the research screen for the outdome research? as it stands i am creating no additional research (at least in the research screen) so i am not entirely certain i am gaining the aditional research

dome are for living, not working though colonists incure a penalty for traveling out of dome, still, good work mate:steamhappy:
