Try re-downloading it. I haven't changed anything with this in ages, should work.

Just wanted to let you know I STILL use this on all of my large grid ships. It provides a bigger screen than the stock flight seat and I like the way it works with Automatic LCDs.

However, if you could make it into two, or even three smaller screens in the same area it would be that much more useful, kinda like the cockpits have extra screens. Just a thought for an update, if you like, and one I would be on like bees on honey, to be honest.

I wouldn't say it's obsolete -- just that you can use it for purposes other than which it was originally intended. For example, this remains a very slick way to get a wall-mount console without actually mounting to the wall.
DMMWolf 26 Apr, 2019 @ 5:08pm
Yes and no, until certain scripts learn to recognize Cockpits this still lives
AutoMcDonough  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 2:49pm
so i guess this is obsolete now. :|
thorman123456789 12 Mar, 2019 @ 2:38pm
oh ok thanks
AutoMcDonough  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 2:25pm
Just checked it out, it functions exactly as before, I see no issue.
thorman123456789 11 Mar, 2019 @ 2:07pm
does this work with the reworked lcd's on the vanilla flight seats?
thorman123456789 3 Mar, 2019 @ 4:46pm
this isn't able to be put on the updated flight seat that keen changed... can you please update this?
Coopertt 1 Mar, 2019 @ 7:39pm
thank you
AutoMcDonough  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 2:15pm
That's my logo for McDonough Astronautical, used whip's monospace image converter to put it on screen. The amber/orange color is 255/150/0.
Coopertt 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:37pm
where can i get thta AMD logo?
and what RGB color do you use? for the text color?
Emiricol4Rl 9 Jan, 2019 @ 4:32pm
Good to know! Thanks for telling me. I'll try again :) Even if it weren't possible, though, this is still one of the best, most useful mods I've seen.
AutoMcDonough  [author] 9 Jan, 2019 @ 12:16pm
You should be able to delete it.. this part fills the whole blockspace behind the seat despite small profile, so simple in creative. And the base was extended into this space as a handle for the welder/grinder to work on.
Emiricol4Rl 9 Jan, 2019 @ 9:28am
This is working for me, with an extensive mod list preceding it on my solo scenario I'm building. I can't *delete* them, though, so just be careful where you put 'em.
AutoMcDonough  [author] 23 Dec, 2018 @ 3:49pm
Use the “details” command for lcd script. ;)
Frission 23 Dec, 2018 @ 12:16pm
Hey for someone that's been struggling with this: How do you add the shield status display to LCDs? I've been trying to figure it out with the Auto LCD 2 script but I just can't get it.
SheildyMcGee 15 Dec, 2018 @ 12:15pm
Great mod, this game should have this one built in, it just makes sense.
Koldfyre 22 Nov, 2018 @ 1:53am
Yeah, the "VCZ Modular Cockpit with Dashboard Indicators" is cool and works well for sure... just wish for something that has the vanilla flavour but still working lcd's. No worries though, don't wanna come off whiney or anything. It's not really a big deal. Curious about the bridge mod though now.. :)
AutoMcDonough  [author] 21 Nov, 2018 @ 4:17am
The one by Vicizlat still works, and he is still active. And helping me with my upcoming bridge mod. :)
Koldfyre 20 Nov, 2018 @ 8:24pm
To add to what Aramil was suggesting, the author of the mod "Cockpit LCD & HUD Modules", IshyDaFishy stated on 15 Jun @ 5:46pm: "@Matt: Feel free to reupload it, or anyone for that matter. I stopped modding so feel free!"

I'm only adding this because I have a lot of your work subbed already, and I believe you are probably the most appropriate modder, based on some of your previous work(this mod primarily), to get it done right and well. Cheers mate. Love your work!
Aramil 💢 27 Oct, 2018 @ 3:13pm
well its not been updated in a long time and the LCDs are not working properly.
AutoMcDonough  [author] 27 Oct, 2018 @ 3:04pm
but that mod already exists
Aramil 💢 27 Oct, 2018 @ 2:33pm
any thoughts on making LCDs for vanilla cockpit like https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=538279319
rommelfcc 22 Oct, 2018 @ 5:39am
cool :steamhappy:
Audiacious 19 Oct, 2018 @ 5:08pm
sweet thanks!
AutoMcDonough  [author] 19 Oct, 2018 @ 6:49am
I am working on a separate mod, a full suite of blocks to make a nice bridge.
Audiacious 18 Oct, 2018 @ 8:52pm
Any chance you can do an offset on sides, making a wrap around of sorts with 3 separate screens??
rommelfcc 13 Jul, 2018 @ 1:57pm
Awesome idea for a mod, and seems to cover up the horrific bloom from the vanilla screens, which makes it hard to read LCD's in front of the seat.

I do have a request / idea:
Could you please also make it small ship compatible, for small ships gone wild?
E.g. the “Small ship mega mod pack (100% Dx-11 Ready)”

By the looks of it, the alignment looks like it would sit nicely on the first small block behind the seat.
That would be Awesome and really useful.
Surprised Keen never made the flight seat screens into LCD’s long ago when LCD’s came out.

Thanks for an awesome mod!

Jb
AutoMcDonough  [author] 9 Jul, 2018 @ 7:15pm
It’s just an LCD block, no in-game scripts included. The script we were talking about was to fix render issue.
Fulcrum 9 Jul, 2018 @ 1:53pm
how do i set it up? i cant find any scripts in the programmable block or anywhere
AutoMcDonough  [author] 4 Jul, 2018 @ 6:30am
Nice catch! Just updated. Thanks! :)
Vicizlat 3 Jul, 2018 @ 6:09pm
AutoMcDonough, Thanks for telling me about the script you are using and letting me borrow it for my cockpits.

Just a helpful pointer so yours doesn't stop working as you've pointed out in the description - change the name of the class to something unique for your mod. I just tested it with both your LCD's and my cockpit running the same script where mine's name was changed and they both worked just fine.
Cee64E 28 Jun, 2018 @ 6:26pm
Just wanted to say that I -really- love this block. Can't stand the bright blue "screen" on the standard flight seat, it spoils the view.
Cruel Sun 27 Jun, 2018 @ 6:28pm
Hm, not for a flight seat. I meant the cockpits panels.
AutoMcDonough  [author] 27 Jun, 2018 @ 5:47pm
I just don't think it's worth the trouble since small grid has no flight seat, and is so easy to make detailed screen layouts.
Cruel Sun 27 Jun, 2018 @ 5:39pm
From a bottom side a cube for panel-shield maybe?
AutoMcDonough  [author] 27 Jun, 2018 @ 4:45pm
what would small grid do? go in front of the passenger seat?
Cruel Sun 27 Jun, 2018 @ 3:31pm
Works well in first-person mode. Hallelujah =)
+ Syna. Version for the small ships.
The "Cockpit LCD & HUD Modules" mod has an issues with first-person mode and the "MA" style looks really good.
bilu 27 Jun, 2018 @ 9:19am
omg this is so beatiful i LOVE IT !!!! I dont understand why simple yet awesome things like this arent already in the game.
AutoMcDonough  [author] 26 Jun, 2018 @ 4:03am
@TwinMinds you are running another mod which intereferes with it
TwinMinds 25 Jun, 2018 @ 9:45pm
When using first person view in the flight seat, the seat's original screen pops in over the new LCD. It looks fine when viewing in third person or when not seated, only bad when in first person which then reduces the point.
Syna 17 Jun, 2018 @ 9:21am
Could we have a version for the small ships ?
dRuPpI 14 Jun, 2018 @ 3:23pm
wow cool.....
can you make somthing like this for the Kolt Command Console pack? :KSmiley:
DMMWolf 2 Jun, 2018 @ 8:43pm
XD
AutoMcDonough  [author] 2 Jun, 2018 @ 6:26pm
"details shield" worked at the time, it was the only block with shield in the name. ;)
DMMWolf 2 Jun, 2018 @ 6:26am
@AutoMcDonough I think the better question is what Command line with ALCD2 did you use?
Goleg The Great 1 Jun, 2018 @ 2:56pm
This should be vanilla
KillSlim 1 Jun, 2018 @ 8:13am
There needs to be something like this made by KSH for vanilla. Great mod.
