saddle can't be dropped from inventory. also, there seems to be a bug with the renaming of the new foals. i can't change their names.
also, can there be an option to restrict what kind of animals people will mount on?
coz even if pawns riding armored war bears is kinda fun, it would be also cool if we could limit mountable animals to conventional ones like horses, camels, elephants..

I added the Palomino line to the armor sets in this mod, minus the stars. That's all it took to get them equipping the gear. Have to update the textures folder or they'll look like big pink boxes, though.
But why is the Animal tag on this and every other piece of animal equipment (dog armor, etc)?
Black horses will almost immediately equip their armor/saddles. I have two of them set to use the same equip designation.
Whites also equip fine.
Palominos ignore all equipment orders. They get ridden around just fine like all the others.
I haven't modified the load order, but will play with it. This behavior is independent of allowed zones/gear, because literally all I do is swap a black horse in and they go equip while the paliminos just stand around looking hot.
I edited my version of this mod to create a new Saddle + Barding equipment piece, because I wanted more hot/cold and protection. It's working fine, just something to consider for future updates.
Mounted gun cavalry using this + Run & Gun + Giddyup series is amazing.
The horses that are supported currently are only from 'Horses (B18)' or 'AnimalCollabProj' - in detail: QuarterHorse, BlackHorse, WhiteHorse, ACPHorse and ACPWoolyHorse
The moment I changed it to "normal or higher", horse went and donned it right on.
@SpiderCamp - Feel free to use this and release something more fitting/better looking for your horses (great job btw.) ^^ as my basic gear mod, it was more of a tech demo ;)
