the ability point gains works but think it overwriters several othert things (even vanilla). i dont get any abilty points (and promotion) from resistance op anymore (i can live with that) but also overwrites the hack+ mod. now hacking is capped at 260 hacking points and for sektopod (exspecially the white one fromn the occult faction) r now impossible to take over. so even i think its really a good idea should fix this problems first before recommand to zse it.

This mod have several issues... look for the REDUX version that is fixed and currently maintained.

Anyone play this mod with Covert Infiltration mod? Idk why but personally this pairs well with it in a way. I know this disables the covert abilities but having this for when I get missions where i get to control my soldiers out on missions and having them level their stats is all satisfying.

For those concerned about the issue Iridar mentioned below... This can be worked around by re-enabling covert action stat boosts in the config. It's also fixed in my unofficial redux of this mod.

This mod removes ALL individual slot rewards from ALL Covert Actions, not just stat boosts. IT WILL BREAK OTHER MODS that add new Covert Actions with their own slot rewards, such as my Bounty Hunter mod.

If you want to use this in LWOTC and doesn't want to nerf your soldier's mobility,
open XComWOTC_SoldierDevelopment.ini file
and modify this part, MaxMobility=14 -> MaxMobility=20 (or more, you want.)
same equal aim, MaxAim=100 -> MaxAim=(you want)

you should use the redux version though

It is one of the best n most useful mods. LWotC compatible too.

Hey, are you still around? If so, any chance you could fix the issue where stats above the config limits are being set TO the config limit? (got a local build with those fixes in + some other changes, feel free to contact if you want them)

I have an idea on how to do Psi Power increases, though it's a little complicated as Psi-Op abilities are kinda all over the place, but what I'm thinking is that utility abilities like Inspire or Stasis have a flat chance to increase Psi Power, damaging abilities whenever the total damage dealt exceeds the soldier's Psi stat the tally resets and gives the soldier 1-3 extra Psi Power, while the abilities that actually use the Psi stat follow the same calculations as Aim or Hack development

Health could follow the same logic as damaging Psi abilities but for damage taken without getting mortally wounded

as for Dodge . . . idk, flat chance to raise it every time they get hit but don't dodge?

my way to do it is: set the max stats to a a value that would be a reasonable maximum for any soldier and then reduce the chance of an event happening by a lot.

This mod never pinged on my radar until now and its really a good one... too bad, the fix was never implemented =(

afaik every stat has the problem that it reverts your soldier to the "max" stat if the soldier is above the max stat and he triggers it

Just disable mobility boost.
DashStatBoostChance = 0.0f ; Default = 0.1 % per dashed tile
DashStatBoost = 0 ; Default = 1

Everything else works very good.

This is the best mod ever made. To bad it has some bugs like subtracting AIM or Mobility, I'd love some update to this.

If I delete the "max stat" lines, will that remove the cap, or will it just error things out?

Playing late game LWOTC and Mod Jam, and I've noticed that MEC trooper and Hero classes can't benefit from the increase Combat Intelligence feature. Is there a way to turn it on for them?

I suggest increase health and dodge though getting hit or successfully evade the overwatch, also can done by having wound soldiers when finishing mission. It is some easy mechanic, not too hard to implement and not to complicating for player to familiar with.
Due to no health and dodge increase with the mod, I cannot turn off the covert action mechanic.

I wonder if the combat intelligence actually also reward ability points to their CI.

It would be great if someone made a bug-free, complete, LWotC compatible version of this great mod.

If you use another mod to set your soldier's parameters very high, it will cause the parameters to shrink when you trigger that mod. The solution is to refer to the file location given by the author and modify the upper parameter limit and initial value.

Like Snake 966 said, this mod will reset almost every stat to a basic value, like mobility, it will be reset to 17. Will will be set to 100. If you have soldiers with higher values, you will lose those higher values and have "Standard" values again...

There is a conflict with soldier conditioning I think with this mod. My soldiers during mission dashed and gained +1 Mobility, but if I had previously Conditioned them in the SC Mod, the number resets to the ORIGINAL Mobility stat#. Its frustrating because my soldiers were actually getting slower during my game and I couldnt figure it out.

so when im editing the config, do i leave the default settings alone? or do i need to change them as well as whats on the left?

In fact, it makes sense that tricky shots increase stats more than normal shots. The same idea is used in "Mount&Blade", where tricky shots give a significantly higher accuracy boost. On the other hand, it encourages low %-to-hit shots. And it's cool. After all, no one will ever shoot with a low % in a normal situation.

Open the Config File XComWOTC_SoldierDevelopment.ini
Change this entry from "true" to "false", bDisableCovertOpsStatBoosts=false
It's the first entry at the top that you can change so should be easy to find.
