Hey, this is a great mod for making the early to mid-game better paced, which is up to and including level 30 where you have access too all ship types. It gave me a chance to familiarize myself with the smaller ships and look forward to the bigger ones, so good job on that.

However, after taking over the entire map (story mode campaign) I barely ended up at level 45 and that was with me present at every battle for the XP, doing all side quests/content, and grinding a good number of missions. That's why I think it'd be a good idea to reduce the amount of XP you need to level up after level 30 or so. After all there's no new ship type to look forward to at that point.

Cheers and thanks for the mod :)

I have not played this game yet, but when I do, this mod is going to be installed first playthrough, because I've read about how fast you get to the highest size ships a lot already - in fact that's one of the only things I've read about the game.

Doesn't make sense to me, to be allowed to skip over all the lower ship classes due to extremely fast levelling - bad game design..

Okay this is nice to see mods like this. Being able to be max level by the time I controled only a quarter of the map got boring.

Was the same with Starpoint Gemini 2 extremly fast XP... intentionally

While you're at modding, can you make a mod that make the max speed and turning actualy meaningfull ? I m a bit tired of cruisers turning like gunships...

I feel that you are the right [person to ask this thing......

Technically you can, but you may no feel much change if you already reached a high level, took a lot of perks and fly a big ship etc.

Why does the player who hates difficult challenges go out of his way to complain here, about the mod OBVIOUSLY designed for those who love difficulties like that? I can hardly figure out :/

Great idea. On my next play through I am going to have to give this mod a go. I definitely do feel as though leveling happens too easily and ship progression is too fast.

If you can modify code I guess you are an expert. Good luck my friend.

Well, then this mod might not be for you. :) I'm the kind of player that thrives on difficult challenges, and i'm quite sure i'm not alone. :p

I found the challenge level just right but I suppose that's a personal opinion. If anything I found SP2 a touch too difficult. I finished the game but was relieved when it was over. I'm a casual gamer who just plays for fun. I get enough stress at work so don't need it when I'm gaming.

This mod isn't really about grinding, it's more about having the chance to experience the game very differently. Alot more challanging as it is way too easy in it's current form. The player becomes so overpowered just within a few hours, the game just wasn't fun for me after that. Whats the point of having an entire galaxy to conquer when u know that u can just afk at every station u wanna take over and when u're back it's urs?
leemug 24 Mar, 2018 @ 2:12am
no thanks - who wants more grinding?

Thanks, i'll see if i can smooth it out a bit.

Hello !
So far the mod is good. I found the gap between level 4 and 5 to be a bit too large however.
