its nothing big, and doesnt cause issues, but the only red error in 600 mods im getting on startup, so it would be nice to have it fixed :)
Thank you for the report. This is quite embarassing since if we change our defname, it will break saves. I contacted Crystalloid author to figure out what to do.
if only crystal bodyparts would work i could ´transform´ everyone to the likenes of there great crystaline idols before i recruit them
@Dongle: I think rimworld of magic uses Jecstools too. You could go dev mode in a new save and test it by spawning a bunch of pawns to check if there is a conflict.
can we use unofficial update jecstools?
- Made lockdown available even if undrafted (it should not mess up with the gizmo order anymore, when you want to double click draft)
- Made lockdown crystals refrigerant. They act like strong passive coolers for their short lifespan.
- Updated head and body textures.
- New bionic crystal heart that can be surgically installed on a human or any race that has a heart.
Huzzah! This has worked! Harmony, Core, Humanoid Alien aces 2.0, Jecs Tools and then the Crystal race! thank you so much! I have been trying for nearly a year to get this one to work thinking it needed patches or something else. So excited to play this now!
Think of it like a reverse tree. The closest of the trunk, the more fundamental it is, the higher in the list. Crystal relies on HAR and Jectools, therefore it's lower in the list.
Raids are super weird: When raided, the distribution of raid points seemed to be oddly spread out to pawns. One or two crystals would have a doomsday rocket launcher or some other crazy weapon, and the others would be butt-naked and have no weapons. Only happened with the crystal faction. It was often times so ridiculous I'd just dev-kill the raiders.
Lights: I'll be honest, don't really care about this one all that much but I might as well mention it while I'm here. Crystals would just leave a small glow all over the place sometimes. Intended?
But yeah, just wondering if any of this has been seen before and if there's any immediate known fixes. Would love to re-install.
No skills: When I'd recruit a crystal they'd have no special abilities. I looked around, couldn't figure it out. Does the lockdown skill only activate when they're attacked? And only when they're a colonist? Raiders would never use lockdown. The one I did recruit was over the age of 20. Is it a passive skill only?
also,is it possible to...well,get upgrades for them that are made of stone?also,i think that their rock type should be in the medical tab because of stuff like extra abbillities & co(sry if english sucks,i am german)
