Very helpful and works perfectly, videos listed below helped fixing the problem too.
Saved me from a mental breakdown, to say the least.

Then your not doing something properly. The VTF must be in a folder that has a higher priority that any other that has the same path and filename as this. See the links I put in the description.

This does not work even if I overide the ones I have from another workshop item.

Then they are probably the original broken files and the subscribed files aren't loading. You should delete the usermod files.

I have 2 files in:
SourceFilmmaker/game/usermod/materials/models/workshop/player/items/pyro/pyro_sweater

The file's name are:
pyro_sweater_blue_color.vtf
pyro_sweater_color.vtf

I have to eliminate them?

Oh, I'll try it

If you created a new mod folder, did you use the SFM SDK's Edit Search Path to give the new material folder the higher priority or do you perchance have the old texture hidden in your usermod materials folder? If you have a copy of the old material in the Usermod materials folder then the new texture will not load, no matter what you do until you get rid of it.

I used the third, and the bug is still there
