Not sure I'll go for it, but you really explained it well, and seem to have good ideas of what to do. Keep going.

Thanks for the mod. I am not interested in telling you what to do like *cough* some people. Just thanks, and btw I like the length and the two handedness of this sword. If I wanted a one handed Katana I would... use a one handed Katana--heh heh. Rock on!

Thank you for this mod, actually I found the weapon playing, ingame. And while using it I wanted to make a mod of the same content, but as I found your Mod here, I say thank you!
:) That mod was really needed!

If you -- someone who's over-shadowed by the multiple people who beat you too the punch by fixing ebony blade, attempted to decrease the size of the blade along with making it one handed, I guarantee you'd be much more popular than anyone else who's done work on the ebony blade.

It was originally a one handed weapon -- leave it to bethesda, even forgetting to include goldbrand, eltonbrand, etc etc, and a few other weapons
Is this version of the weapon the same length as the big version? If it's not can someone let me know? because I'd like a normal sized one handed ebony blade, you know, kinda like the ORIGINAL EBONY BLADE? How it looked like a badass Green jade with black silk hand wrapping and a golden/jetblack hilt / hand guard in Oblivion?
Surely you guys remember the original size of the ebony blade.

Is there a way you can make the size of the ebony blade the same size as the blades katana? It would look amazing as a one-handed weapon if it wasn't so &^!$&^% BIG. Please, spread this around to all of the prospective "ebony blade" fans, tell them all to make their versions of ONE HANDED ebony blades also the same SIZE as a one handed weapon and not an enormous hulking piece of metal &*%t that's horribly unrealistic for ANYONE to be able to swing around easily

drunkenvash 17 Mar, 2012 @ 4:00pm
Can you make it one handed too?

It did not show at the grindstone for me (I have daedric smithing perk). Also, before subscribing my blade was at 39 damage, and after subscribing it was 33.

stats of the sword like swingtimer remained untouched - in fact it IS swinging faster than other twohanded swords. In vanilla it is a mix between one and twohanded weapon. The Ebony Blades swingtimer is equal to a onehanded weapon
CobaltWolf 1 Mar, 2012 @ 5:43pm
Does this make it swing faster? That was my problem, aside from the awkward way the character wielded it, swinging it around like a drunk XP Which stinks, because it looks cool, and I love my characters having dai-katanas & nodachis

all my mods did'nt work

Tried to fix the enchanting bug - after hours of testing I must say that this goes by far deeper than I thougt...
Seems like enchanting skill and perks will aways have an impact on just one enchant effect. This not just occurs on my custom enchant but also on the robe enchants - the magic regen component of those enchants doesnt profit from skill/ perks either.
By now i got no idea how to fix this so if someone got an idea I'd be glad if you let me know - other feedback and wishes are appreciated too :)
