This is a good map for OP vehicles. Forwarder DLC, for example.

Challenging map. There are some really muddy spots. You have to be really careful what you do. Otherwise you could easily get stuck or run out of fuel.

just finished this map with Vanilla trucks. Really fun, tricky in spots but a fun challenge.

Your description is spot on. There is some deep mud and the swamps can be a bit slow. I drive the Oshkosh M977. The mud slowed me down a bit but didn't cause a problem. It's definitely a good challenge driving it and working it out. The hardest thing I thought was finding the trucks with garage points. I towed each one in. It's a lot easier than trying to drive them.

Good map, as mentioned the mud is nearly impassible in some places. Getting the E-type out is seriously difficult. I recommend driving through the woods behind the first garage to the river and crossing there.

Ok. Your maps are the best by far in my opinion, fun and a real challenge. Highwater and also Longridge. Awesome. Im a fan!

Since this map came out I played it a lot. But a few days ago my Mudrunner got updated automatically. After the update I started a new game on Highwater. Than I saved and loaded once, it worked. But now when I want to load the game it says "cant load Highwater its damaged or too old". What can I do to load it?

@Cobra96: It's playable as is. I played it despite the warning, unlocked all watch points, rescued all trucks and completed the objectives.

This map is better than the stock maps. The stock maps are way to easy, especially in MP. Playing solo right now, it took me 4.5 hours just to get all of the watchpoints and unlock one garage. Part of that was because I took the first two garage points to the garage farthest from the 2nd truck with garage points. Also, the game glitched out and one of the B-66's trailer wheels clipped through a bridge and it was stuck. I spent almost an hour trying to winch it free, and it didn't help that you can only winch to the trailer when it's attached to the truck.

Just completed Highwater... In 9h24 minutes. Epic challenges: Towing a 2 wheel drive truck with fuel to fill up another one with garage points. Seeking for the best crossing point of the river.
I did it with trucks with the short log carriage and short log trailer (3 + 3 points). In lowest throttle trough the mud and carefully steering not to flip over at the toughest small bridges and sections. This is absolutely not for the faint harted, but what a thrill ! Thanks for the map !

@Cobra96 - Thanks man. Longspring if you like a casual approach, you'll start with a few trucks at a garage. Longfall if you like a challenge, you'll start in the middle of the map with a one star vehicle and no garages until you find the hidden garage parts. That's the biggest difference, but both maps look different too due to the different texture sets used.

Thank you for your work, I will definetely start your new map. What do you suggest, Longridge or Longfall? You wrote that they are almost identical, but different

@TruebornJester - I’ve just finished my next map which I wanted to get done before I fixed Highwater. I’ll start reworking the map in the next few days but it could take me a while. Check back in the future for the update.

@Cobra96 - The February update changed the way the mud works in game, it made Highwater much muddier. It pretty much broke the map. I will update the map one day but at the moment I just don't have the time.

Beautiful landscapes, but too deep, too much unrealistic and unnecessary mud. Very boring, not challenging. A challenge comes when there are vehicles to rescue (as you made) and dangerous cliffs (that are missing), not when the mud is too much. Thanks anyway for the experience

This is the most difficult map I have played in spintires so far. Much more challenging than the standard maps. I did three runs with the 8x8 each carrying 8 load points and drove in 1 low all the time. Never the less the map locks beautiful and is fun to play. 😉

Good work Torridon. Just finished your map, it was a real challenge. Jesus Christ. The original maps in Mudrunner are too easy, also compared to the ones in Spintires 1. Hope you make some more Maps like this!

i found out that crossing at the same location ends up badly after second crossing. I tried crossing also near bottom left of the map, all started well, but suddenly, even the mighty 7310 or K700 got stuck, I eventually lost all my vehicules trying to rescue them, the current is very high despite quuite shallow, let alone the lack of fuel.. I was 4 points from finsh line, and 14H playtime (hardcore) on that single map. Will try again, the map could be a little less discouraging.. clearly not a map for everyone, I enjoyed it, the feeling of accomplishment is high, the reward is high, but very unforgiven.

Torridon88 - casual isn't necessary... it is better to hardcore!!!.... not грязьяю, and relief... that visiting in a pool, not having checked a route, it would be possible to turn over for example. without knowing the ford, don't poke into water

@jief075 - Thanks and yes I know it’s not for everyone in it’s current state. I plan on reworking the map to make it a bit more approachable, it’s very hard after the February update made the ground softer.
