@:-) Rahakmur :-) Most likely yes. It's been years and I never got to support the DLCs (I stopped playing and didn't want to spend money on the game further.) so I can't even reproduce the issue.

Hi ! AutoExplore and Auto Gathering stopped working for me too. 2 possiblities: 1) It stopped working when I landed on an asteroid for the first time (as you can take transporter with maybe this creates a bug ?) or 2) It stopped working when I relload the game. I think it is number one... Hope to see a solution soon ! (Top mod by the way!!!! )

@bisscl Possible on certain odd maps, building a tunnel should make the issue go away. Can you give me the location for this particular mars map?

When an anomaly is revealed on a non reacheable area (no ramp or tunnel) it keeps trying to get there and ignores other anomalies !

disabled and reloaded no effect when i click the auto button explorer just sits there and there are lots of anomalies on map. same with rc harvester and transport from other mod.

@BLÀde RC Transport Haul could be interfering. Try disabling it and see if you still get the issue.

If you still experiencing the issue, please go to c:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\logs\ directory, delete the logs, then start the game and load a save. Quit the game and please upload the log files to Pastebin for example.

Works for me when starting & loading a fresh game. It may not work with saves before the Below and Beyond update as the game broke a lot of mod functionality.

I just realized that it's a bonus In the Mission Sponsor NASA Being that I use that Mod exclusively since it's been put out, I wasn't aware of that being a perk for the Mod. Sorry. I'll delete my last post, so not to confuse the issue. :armchair::kopi:

I dunno, if I find a spot I can replicate it at, I'll try and share the map.

I do know that the rover will endlessly try to go after stuff inside a landscaping project but it can't reach because landscaping blocks off the inside.

@Vas I played a bit on a map that had a separate zone and the rover didn't try to get to the unreachable anomaly. Maybe some of the maps have narrow patches that are impassable yet they somehow connect zones.

Oh, and the unreachable pathing doesn't work anymore, forgot to mention that. The auto explore still works, just not the checking if reachable, and for some reason the auto explore broke around Sol 100ish.

Rovers, not drones. xD

I dunno, my rover just wouldn't auto explore after my drones built him and I toggled the option on. I had to manually tell him to go to every anomaly.

@Vas I haven't played the game in a long time and the mod is pretty old; could be anything. Drones ordered from Earth were working as far as I remember.

I'm not sure if this works on rovers built by drones. It hasn't worked since I made a new rover after the one I had shipped in was destroyed.

@Captain Seasick; Because you require extensive research to gain this ability. By the time I gained the research, I had already finished getting all map anomalies anyway making the research useless.

It does work but also still tries to send rovers to unreachable locations when reachable ones are nearby. Clicking the rover and pointing it in the right direction 2-3 clicks seems to fix it for a while.

The old ModConfig doesn't work with the Gagarin Update, you need ModConfig Reborn:

and disable the old ModConfig. It is an optional dependency to my mods.

So, I think I found out where that lag people have mentioned comes from. In AutoExploreScript.lua line 23 you have a CreateGameTimeThread.

Game time threads are persistent, so each time the save is loaded it adds another thread.

Easiest way around it is to store a persistent reference to the thread.

@SkiRich Looks like they will gate the autonomous features behind a research. I wonder how will they solve the reachability problem (i.e., plateaus and valleys not yet connected by tunnels but having anomalies/resources already discovered).

I have been noticing recently freezes on rocket landing with all 3 of the "AutoRover" mods enabled, and the odd freeze when I have a larger colony.

Not sure if it's related to just them, or if it's an issue with them and a bunch of "run every day at 01:00" mods like I have enabled causing my game to hit buffer and freeze (It's like what happened in Fallout 4's Sim Settlements until we where able to tweak the threads setting.)
