Спасибо уже нашел. Думаю подобная информация может понадобиться кому то еще... По умолчанию цена магнита 8м на раннем этапе может показаться слишком завышенной.

@ТиТай, в папке мода по адресу "...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\1341905147\res\construction\assets\tools\cargomagnet" есть файл "cargomagnet.con". Открывай Нотепадом или Блокнотом, листай вниз, в самом конце найдёшь формулу:"result.cost = capacount*1000" Изменяй 1000 для изменения цены. Больше число - больше цена, и наоборот. На всякий случай сделай бекап файла, чтоб не запороть мод.

Sadly, this mod and the generators mod lag my game so bad it becomes unplayable, even after adding only a few of these. Also, it would appear they have the same limitations of distance that the base game does, so I can't make a really long route to "anywhere" on the map using these as the mod description seems to indicate. Other than those issues, I love this mod, and wish those were fixed! I want to make a really long train route with no stops in between, just a winding mountain track with passing sidings! :)

@Liv Marques, I dunno, really... The last one what can I suggest to do:
- download backup copy of this mod from here https://modsbase.com/nelk2ne0t2qn/1341905147_Cargo_Magnet_-_v.1.2.zip.html
- unzip it into the ...\steamapps\common\Transport Fever\mods
- in the list of mods you will find second Magnet mod, but it will have Manual source (icon with hand), try to use it.

It worked before. But it has been a while I played this game. I reinstalled(the game) a few days ago and the magnet wouldnt work anymore.

@Liv Marques, I don't think it's because of conflict with another mods... There was no conflicts before.
Okay, tell me please - did magnets work before? Or it's broken from the first day you installed this mod?

Do you think is possible that another installed mod (even if it's not actvated) is causing this issue?

@Liv Marques, hmmm, nothing wrong... Here is my suggestions:
- how long have you been waiting? Sometime you have wait 6 months before it starts to work.
- are you sure that you choose correct type of cargo in magnet/generator?
- are you sure that cargo vechicle can carry this type of cargo?
- did you build excacly cargo stations (not passenger)?

Dumb questions, I know, but at first we all made these mistakes...
If still nothing - well, I don't know, really. Try to resubscribe the mod. Or even reinstall the game (it helped me once).

I started a new game with only the cargo generator and magnet mods, still nothing.
I placed a truck station outside a city, close to the road. Then placed de cargo generator at the entry of the station(it works anywhere). The I placed a truck station inside the city and the magnets also on the entry of the station. Set a line between the truck stations and used a single truck in this line. The city only receives the amount the truck transports. What am I doing wrong? :steamsad:

@Liv Marques , I just tested magnets and generators in new game - it works just fine and can be upgraded. So...
Try to place magnet and generator near the station, close to the road. Wait few months before it will start work. Check this problem in a new game (maybe, your save just bugged, I dunno).

I remember that I had to set the cargo generator and magnet as a station right? Its not clickable as a station for me anymore. Pls help

@n.chiri, yes, affected. Magnets and generators has ammount of cargo per YEAR - no difference how long or short it is. If days are longer (4 or 8 seconds), then years are longer too, but mod should work anyway.

Just keep in mind that calculations of cargo demand/offer are made just once in every month - on the first day. And after building a magnet/generator you have to wait a few months (maybe even half a year) before it will start working.

Also make sure that magnet/generator properly connected to your transport system and is in zone of cargo station.

Is this mod (and the generator mod) affected by slow time progress mods? I can't get these to work on a save where I have 4x slower time progress.

@GAMEOVER2016: Start a new custom game, open advanced settings, activate Cargo Magnet mod. You'll find the magnet in the 'terrain' menu > 'track assets'.

@ubreitfeld, well, I didn't see anything strange in the log, but I had similar problem, so I rewrited the code, and don't have no more crashes even in my huge savegame. It should be fine now, but if something goes wrong - let me know.

@ubreitfeld, interesting. Can I see your error log? After next crash you can find it here: "...\Steam\userdata\<YOUR_STEAM_ID>\446800\local\crash_dump\ stderr.txt " and " stdout.txt " (two files). Just upload it somewhere (on Google Disc, for example), and post link here.

After plopping maybe 10 magnets game freezes for a few seconds und then crashed. The last magnet i wanted to plop was stone with a demand of 8192.

When using your mod my fps drops below 3 while trains unloading they cargo. After unloading my game is back at 30 fps.

@Scronny, first of all, try to re-subscribe on mod. If problem will not dissapear, try to launch a new clear game with Cargo Magnet only. If you will get crash again - then make a screenshot of Error message (if it will appear), and then I'll look, what's going on.

Oh sweet, that is good timing! Thanks for your work! Love this mod, always hated how the mid-level goods are practically useless unless you have a huge complicated supply chain.

@Cruzmissile, your question is just in time :) Today, after many hours of searching for a solution, I found it! Mod updated and works as before. There is one small bug, but it does not affect the functioning of the mod. See the description.

Спрашивается, зачем тогда играть? Наставил магнитов и тупо гоняй транспорт. Смысл игры в том и есть, что надо развить производство с помощью цепочек. Короче мод для ленивых.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I will search the way to fix it. Also I hope that this version of patch isn't final - it causes many problems and lags at the moment. I'll really hope to see new stable version soon, and then it will be easier to find the solution.

I can confirm the same problem post beta. As kirkatron reports, in an old pre beta save the old cargo magnets are still working when loaded under the beta, but in my latest game started on the beta with new magnets, no cargo collects at the dispatch station and the supply industtry stops production.

@Max Well, sorry to here about the big lags. i did a bit of testing myself and found that any cargo magnet built prior to the beta update was still fully functional in save games to a point.
ive found that i can still select any cargo magnet and set amount for demand and i can still build it, the only thing i cant do is delete it and the industries do not recognise the potential.
hope that helps with your tests to find the cause of the issue.

@kirkatron, yes, patch broke the mod. Also I have very big lags with this patch, so it hard for me even make tests to find out what happened with CM. But I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the notification.

Hi there, been using your mod since its release and its been great.
However since starting a new map it no longer seems to work either by way of increasing potential in a specified industry even after months gone by and im unable to delete the magnets.
i can select them to delete however nothing happens...
i have recently downloaded the new beta update for the game and wondering if that is the cause.
thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

@AndreCR10, all in description. Find magnets in "Track Assets", choose type and amount of cargo, and just plop it anywhere near the road. Then build station which will include magnet in servise area. That's all - that type of cargo can be transportated into this station.

So I can just place it right of the cargostation-building where the road connection is?
then the magnet can extract it directly from the station?
