@CaptainCrazeh go for it. you're free to do whatever you want with it. you can definitely add custom dialog, though this mod contains nothing of the sort. i'd recommend cracking open the A.V.I.A.N. sail mod, that might give you a better idea of what's possible.

Hey is there a way to add custom dialogue? If I can have permission, I would love to look in to the mod and try add custom dialogue!

i found the trouble of why it does not work, it's because of the mod conflicts with this mod Scripted Artificial Intelligence Lattice (Customisable A.I.!)

interesting. sounds like the code paths already exist to maintain functionality in the lack of the extra mods unless they were already made to begin with. in my experience coding, i HAD to make an if-then statement, otherwise my software would crash as soon as it had to run in the lack of any certain elements during my technology classes in school. quite interesting to know all of that was planned ahead of time.

there's actually no programming necessary. you just copy and paste the sail sprites into the same file path as whichever race mod and rename them the same as that mods sail. if that race mod isn't installed then they'll be added without issue but not used.

to make it capable of functioning with or without those race mods, an if-then statement would be optimal.

i could probably make it do that. i doubt many people are using both mods anyway.

Is it possible to have a mod of this for the Callistan/Calskies Races without using the Costumizable AI? Their Race AI is really ugly, but using the mod shows it again on the planets.

@iamzid oh. xD cool! glad i gave you an idea. i know i saw it at one point in time using her A.I. chip with the custom A.I. mod. it might just be any menu where i can select various different options on the SAIL UI.

I do like it, i apologise if ive upset you. I guess when i look at the Lyceen sprites i just dont see much resenblence. Ill leave it be, i was just exspressing my thoughts on the matter.

@Ohanno_WhiteWolf Lyceen are a direct derivative of Kemono with custom leg animation and fur pattern. I'm sorry if you dislike some aspect of this, but I'm not going to try to please everyone. I do what I want, you like it or you don't.

Im not saying your a bad artist im saying that this S.A.I.L should not be claimed to be just a Lyceen S.A.I.L since it looks to be neither race id like to see a Kemono version or a Lyceen editorial to the art. Agian im not complaining, i just want to see this live up to its name. The Lyceen are a powerful species and i respect their creators. However i just dont see them looking closer to this sprite. Sorry if any of this has offended you in any way. I just got confused when it was named the Lyceen Sail. To be fair, mannnnnnnnny S.A.I.L. Units look nothing like their in-game counterparts but i guess it just bothers me when I play as a species that seems more related to this than what it was created for.

Hey, i found this mod shortly after installing the Lyceen and Chipset mods for custom S.A.I.L. Units. I just read this page and i noticed it stated that this is made for the Lyceen race, Now i personaly dont play as the Lyceen because i find their sprites to be a little too abrasive to their animalistic bodytype, regardless i still have it installed along with many, many more speices. I play as a Kemono Race, now lets talk sprites real quick. I love the Kemono's head and tail sprite, its very familiar to me. I dont want to sound judge mental but this S.A.I.L does not look very lyceen. it reminds me of Kemono as the body but the head looks like a cross from the Lyceen and another fox or wolf speices mod i cant remember the name to.

@TheSkyArmyFox i understand, i used to reply too. however, it has been my experience that trying to affect the opinion of someone who has already decided that they hate you, is pointless. people like that want nothing more than to provoke an indignant response from you and ruin your day.
