it would be better if you could only use doors connected to a power grid
otherwise its too easy to trap raiders in a furnace room

awesome, i used doors expanded because it would let me close them on combat, but that mods having tech difficulty so this will work as a great replacement. I CAN PLAY MY FILE AGAIN THANKS TO YOU! THANK YOU!

As far as I searched, the doors added by Doors Expanded are different from vanilla door
(the former's <thingClass> doesn't inherite Building_Door).
So it takes time and effort to modify.
I have no plan at the moment because there’s something I want to do.

Tammy: I'm using both this mod and doors expanded, but I'm not really a modder so I'm hesitant to start mucking about files without knowing exactly what I'm doing. What specific changes would I need to make in order to make Doors Expanded work with this mod?

'Doors Expanded' can be included by editing "Patches/Thing_Patches.xml".

No, I was just making a small joke that something as simple as a remote controlled door (like you'd find in a garage door) hasn't yet been covered in the game. Thank you for making this mod.

This mod works with ThingDef that ParentName is "DoorBase".

This looks pretty great. It's always mildly annoyed me that my colonists can build a spaceship but can't figure out a remote controlled garage door.

I was just thinking about how handy this would be last night for purposes of allowing winter temperatures to cool my food instead of using electricity. Do you know if open doors affect temperature?

Very small but kinda useful mod. It doesn't influence other mods you there is no point not to do it
