It works fine, but I would like to update it.

Hello! Good mode, very useful. But patch 3.10 breaks it. Traits are presents in game, but don`t works.
I think the situation here is the same as in hears in portraits. One of the patches Paradox did changed principle of code. All added portraits was hairless.

Why can't Lithoids use these traits?

Do you think you could make a separate mod that gives more variability to lifespans? Like say:

Long-lived (1 cost): +40 lifespan
Enduring (2 cost): +80 lifespan
Venerable (3 cost): +120 lifespan
Ancient (4 cost): +200 lifespan

I'm asking because I can't seem to find anyone on the workshop who knows that numbers below 300 and higher than 80 exist...

Thank you I'll use it well

Thanks for the comment, I'll check it out!

@Magical Liopleurodon I am not really playing stellaris right now, but feel free to try it. This mod does not have scripts and just adds some traits so I think it might still work, but I am not planning on updating any time soon if it does not.
Magical Liopleurodon 6 Dec, 2018 @ 9:56pm
Does this work with 2.2?

Follow up comment: If you want to override the warning from showing up specifically for this mod, you can go to your mods folder in *your documents*\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod and open ugc_1345832350.mod in notepad and then replace 2.0.* with 2.1.*
Yegie  [author] 29 May, 2018 @ 3:15pm
I do not currently have access to my home pc, so I can not update the mod. That said, I am currently playing on 2.1 with it and seems to work fine for me. You can most likely ignore the "outdated mods enabled" warning for this mod. If you run into any problems on 2.1 with this mod let me know in a comment.
Kaiser Nhyla 28 May, 2018 @ 5:23pm
Are you going to update this to 2.1?
vamware 22 May, 2018 @ 11:42am
they broke it again
Yegie  [author] 5 Apr, 2018 @ 6:54pm
@son-goku It will apply to any leader from a species with these traits, so as long as your scientists/admirals are of the species with these traits then it will apply to them too.
son-goku 5 Apr, 2018 @ 9:01am
Does the trait only apply to the president/ruler or to the scientists/admirals etc as well?
son-goku 4 Apr, 2018 @ 11:48pm
Ah, thx
Yegie  [author] 4 Apr, 2018 @ 4:13pm
@son-goku these are all species traits (similar to venerable) that can only be taken at the start of the game. You can't mod them onto an existing species.
son-goku 4 Apr, 2018 @ 2:32pm
How does this work actually? Do leaders turn up by chance when recruiting with these traits? Or do I have to genetically re-encode my people?
Celepito 3 Apr, 2018 @ 10:35pm
You could add them as Advanced Traits like Erudite, Robust and Fertile, locking them behind biological Ascention.
WeerW3ir 3 Apr, 2018 @ 5:45pm
Also add something negative too to it. its too strong :P something stargateish :P lol
WeerW3ir 3 Apr, 2018 @ 5:43pm
I like it. Maybe you could rename the Higher Beings to 'Ascenseds' :P And a better description. something from Stargate maybe? :P

'Ascension is a process by which sufficiently evolved sentient beings may shed their physical bodies and live eternally as pure energy on a higher plane of existence, where their capacity for learning and power grows exponentially. It is a mental, spiritual, or evolutionary enlightenment that can arise as the direct result of achieving a certain level of wisdom and self-knowledge.'

Just a tip. :P

Changelog: Added small habitability penalty to Ancient Ones since after playing for a bit that one felt like the best one in most cases.
Yegie  [author] 3 Apr, 2018 @ 4:23pm
@Arkangel of Mono I am not an expert on modding, but I don't think these modify any existing traits, they only add new ones. Should be compatible with most things.

@Celepito The traits can only be added during species creation since otherwise you could add them 40 years in when your leaders get close to death and not have any cons in the first 40 years.
John Warhammer 3 Apr, 2018 @ 1:41pm
Finally the God-Emperor can lead the Imperium forever!!!
Arkangel of Mono 2 Apr, 2018 @ 8:38pm
Please add a compatibility section to your description. Of importance the files edited by this mod and if there are known conflicts.
Celepito 2 Apr, 2018 @ 5:37pm
Don't know if you intended it that way, but I can't gen-mod these traits on a species. Since it might be an oversight I wanted to bring your attention to it.
Kuhar 2 Apr, 2018 @ 1:01pm
"They are all quite powerful" Nah fam these are legit apeshit strong. I would venture to call it cheating. -25% pop growth for 750 extra years on my leaders? A game of Stellaris don't even last that long these dudes are practically immortal. The only one with any real draw backs is the monsterous one and it's still really good.

The higher beings one is also useless when you can get stuff that does the same for 2 points less.
Karina 2 Apr, 2018 @ 1:48am
Immptal leaders for 4 trait points and with no negatives. Funny joke, man,

Cheesemongle 2 Apr, 2018 @ 1:22am
