Hello @Uuugggg. Any chance you will update this for 1.5? This is my favorite mod genuinely. I don't do any fancy mod I like vanilla but this is the best QOL for vanilla.

@Tanelorn You are right. I had no FPS issues since I played after disabling it - but after enabling it now again my FPS stays high even when selecting pawns, plants or items.

Well in those 2 weeks there were lots of updates for mods everywhere and I removed some others from my list because of conflicts so either a conflicting mod got updated or I am not using it anymore ...

@Ali50 I recently had a very similar issue after reinstalling the 1.3 of this mod. However, I am pretty sure it's not being caused by this mod, as I removed it and the issue remains. For me, it's specifically a conflict when hauling particular items. The pawn gets stuck in a loop. It can be resolved by assigning a new task. No debugger entry is created but the game experiences massive slowdown.

@Uuugggg Thanks for updating it to 1.3! But sadly I get the same issue as on Jellypowered's port:

I'm not sure yet if it is a mod conflict or not, but I get extreme slowdowns (64 FPS -> 16-6 FPS in pause, 20 -> 6-2 FPS on max speed) as soon as I select a pawn, item or plant (animals, structures and stone / ore behaves normal) and it took me several hours (lots of restarts with 800+ mods active) to find out that this mod causes it.

Any idea what could be the reason and if it is fixable? WIMP is a very useful mod and I don't really want to play without it!

Currently breaks "gizmo" bar (cannot draft, see equipped weapon etc) completely.

Could be issues with either 1.3 update or with other mods (like Pocket Sand or Simple Sidearms), so AVOID using for NOW.

It does not work, unfortunately.

@Uuugggg Yes, i was thinking about it being a seperate mod as well. I thought asking you since you made this awesome mod that is around the same idea (knowing what your pawns are doing).

I would really appreciate it if you could make a mod like that, and i wouldn't be the only one!

Yup that was an idea, that could easily be its own mod.

This mod is mostly about finding the target of the job. Adding an icon is a completely separate thing to do in code so could be its own mod.

This mod is great! But not actually what i was looking for...

I'm looking for a mod that shows an icon on the colonists bar that shows the current job/activity. That would be so useful! But I don't think it exists, unfortunately and surprisingly.
Would you be interested in making something like that? Maybe you can use icons from one of the following mods:
