And yes makuchluk, please try making an asset yourself. You'll shut up once you find out how much work goes into creating them. I can't believe how some people can have the damn audacity to throw such random made up arguments. In the time it took you to write that shit up you could have converted it to growable yourself and saw that it doesn't look good due to the limitations of the game.

2. Thank you for calling me lazy. You will be glad to learn that it is way quicker to make a building as growable than as RICO, since the latter requires its configuration to be set manually. I made it RICO because there is a good reason for it. Just look at my Workshop to see that I always make buildings as growables when required they make sense as such.

3. So no, I won't make it as a growable because it isn't fit for that purpose. Just pretend this asset doesn't exist, that will fix your problem.

@makuchluk 1. If you qualify of irregular Lugo or Central European themes we are clearly not talking about the same thing - look at the footprint of the building on Sketchfab and on the screenshots: side walls are not perpandicular to the road. That's what I call irregular, and none of the growables you mentioned are like that. Add to that the fact that the house is way smaller than a game tile and it makes absolutely no sense to see it spawn as a regular growable: it is supposed to be wall-to-wall but somehow it would stand on its own with a narrower front than back?

I love the variaty of designes and it's awesome people make them, including you. I love when they pop up in cities automatically as it's not a city's mayor role to tell architect what specific building must be in the city and where exactly. I assign them to some district styles which is ardous job on my side when one has got around 10000 buildings, if not 14000 according to my assets list.

I'm trying to find some time to get into making them myself as no one does generic industries and they used to have amazing castle-like buildings back in the 19th and beginning of 20th century.

Or buildings of specific architecture styles such as Secession or Art nouveau (there seems to be no English term to that) - see Antonio Gaudi, the architect.

irregular shapes are ok with the game (see Europa 1900 district style - and growables from Galicia/Lucus series)... otherwise you wouldn't even make them as unique buildings in the first place. I suppose that includes the fact when they are smaller then 1 tile itself (whis is the case of any 1 tile building in the game).
I agree they can spawn uncontrollably but that depends how many only 1 tile residence areas are available - if none, they will be replaced by larger footprint buildings or will never grow.... unless one has got no other building model in game.

Sorry to strike down all your arguments but they are not arguments at all.... I can accept RICO-only version if it's over 4 tiles in any size.

@makuchluk It wouldn't work as a growable because it is too small to fit an entire tile and its shape is irregular. So it would look pretty ridiculous if it spawned through regular zoning.
