Nogilthazaa, If you do pick it up again I will be really excited.
Black ZeRo 23. sep. 2019 kl. 18:58
It is working and he reveals the lenses for the way /admin. However a trivial mistake exists in the brows [mainly in the mod of eyes of Cutebound]. They should be black, but in case he/she paints of red the eyes, their brows blush also. In the way vanilla he/she doesn't really catch the mod, but I believe that who knows to move with programming will be easy. P.S Descompacte the paste with the program Pakit and delete the paste Todo, that the game doesn't lock. -q
Excuse me in my bad English

tbh extracting the files again would be trivial, you just need the unpacker you can find around on places like the starbound community forums, then you have literally everything i was working on :p im just lazy and more uninterested in starbound modding, at least for now i might pick it back up again at some point, admittedly, but don't hold ur breath and die pls

The cutebound eyes on the Bunnykin are one pixel too low on them, plus they only have one eye on screen, while cutebound gives two. Close, but looks really weird on them
Okamitsune 19. dec. 2018 kl. 20:04
can you make one for the lucario race or is there an alternative u already made?
Maddcatt 19. sep. 2018 kl. 11:17
Can you possibly make some Ningen/Neko/Kemono/Greckan contacts? They're larger than the human ones, but not as large as others listed.
licflagg 17. juli 2018 kl. 7:38
Inkling contacts? would that be possible?
Dangeki 13. juli 2018 kl. 16:07
omg i love this.. .thank you so much
Lite2x1000_7 5. juni 2018 kl. 11:33
you mispelled hylotl
moomal 1. juni 2018 kl. 3:05
The Alternative Lamia Eyes are the same shape as the Cutebound eyes, but they are one pixel higher, causing the contacts to look strange.
Poofle McGreen 💚 26. maj 2018 kl. 13:06
The way dying works is it looks at the color hex values, then replaces them with other hex values to change them to the color you want. So yes, they would support it.
SleepySheepy 26. maj 2018 kl. 12:13
Does all contacts support dying station tho?
Naii Starwing 24. maj 2018 kl. 4:42
Finally! A solution to having my felin have dot eyes! (She has a white belly, so eye color mods are weird on her)
Also, 'vali is yes.
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2018 kl. 19:36
@~Bap~ The large female contacts are meant for Floran and Avian, as their eyes do not have whites in them. Use small female contacts for white scleras!
Late 23. maj 2018 kl. 19:17
I think it was the large ones?
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2018 kl. 18:43
@~Bap~ Which female contacts? The large, small, or fishy ones?
Late 23. maj 2018 kl. 15:06
I dont mean to sound rude and annoying, but when I made the contacts for the female black, it still had that blue looking thing there, I thought that was a little annoying.

Possibly make a pair where it turns white?
moomal 29. apr. 2018 kl. 9:23
'Hoytl'
Not to be rude, but its spelled Hylotl.
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2018 kl. 8:36
@DaedaliusRE
I really appreciate the praise, and I am very thankful for the people who enjoy my mod, well as the starbound modding community in general! You've all been very kind and patient for this being my first foray into Starbound modding, as well as JSON and Lua coding too, and for that, I'm crazy thankful.

I've also developed a functional workaround too, that ideally should cause the contacts to glow when worn by a Novakid, even when worn in the cosmetic slot! Like I said, it SHOULD work, but I'm going to be testing it out tomarrow once I get some sleep. Here's to hoping!
Fruchtgummi 19. apr. 2018 kl. 8:24
@Mcdonalds db beesechurger
Even if you are not able to solve this problem, I'm SUPER thankful for your fast response! I get the feeling that the people who use your mods are important to you. That's super cool! I wish you best of luck in your search for a workaround but know that I'm already very appreciative! : )
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2018 kl. 6:12
@Poofie McGreen @DaedaliusRE
Good news and bad news.

Bad news: Any effect or status that the contacts would cause via their .item file wouldn't matter, as it's hard-coded into the game to now allow effects and statuses when items are equipped in cosmetic slots, which the contacts are supposed to be.

Good news: I may be able to make a workaround by using a lua hook to make a quest file that looks to see if a specific item is equipped EVEN in a cosmetic slot, then if it is, cause any given effect or status until the player isn't wearing that item anymore.

More bad news: The lua hook workaround would only work if the lua hook had access to the Player Table, which none of the paths in the player.config file give access too. It seems like a deadend but I'll keep looking. The dudes on the Starbound Modding Discord are being super helpful!
Poofle McGreen 💚 19. apr. 2018 kl. 3:16
It would have to be adding a "fullbright" to something that doesn't usually have a fullbright option. And even then, the contacts' Fullglow would need to be dyable as well.
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2018 kl. 2:54
@DaedaliusRE I personally don't use cutebound, nor do I have any experience with it, but that also doesn't sound like something I can fix unless there's a way to make clothing glow, and even then, they likely wouldn't have the same coloured glow as the Novakid's corona, though given that they're contacts, maybe that's a good thing?

I can't make any promises since I don't know what I'm doing, but I'll see what I can do.
Fruchtgummi 19. apr. 2018 kl. 2:12
Pretty great mod but it seems it's rather disturbing when you are a Novakid (cutebound) player. You see the Novakids glow in the dark but the contacts do not. that means everything is perfect in bright places but as soon as you go to some place dark, the eyes get black alongside the clothes while the novakid's "skin"color does not change. Rather creepy... : /
Silver 13. apr. 2018 kl. 9:44
Is there one for the Inklings from Squids in Space? If not, can you make one, please?
GarfieldSmutEnthusiast 13. apr. 2018 kl. 9:41
Just saying
GarfieldSmutEnthusiast 13. apr. 2018 kl. 9:41
In the description for this mod it says 'Hoytl' instead of 'Hylotl.'

Saturnian Dye support for Saturnia Contacts has been added, as well as the changes to the Fenerox Contacts have been reverted, as per @Cyan Sky Knight's and @Diam0niter's requests respectively.
Cyan Sky Knight 8. apr. 2018 kl. 19:30
Thanks for adding contacts for my race mod! If you're wanting to add support for my mod's dyes, you will need to add these colors [pastebin.com] to the end of the Antireflective Contacts' list of colors.
summus artifex 8. apr. 2018 kl. 5:32
i wonder if there is a mod that could possibly add extra cosmetic slots for your character customization screen in inventory... something that adds cosmetic tail, glove, eye shadow, and boot slots. i'm no good at scripting so i couldn't do something that complex. i'm somewhat decent at art. if you didn't know then the craftable batteries for the mech have the combo cell pack that i created concept art for to show the creator. and it looks pretty good.
Dym0niter 7. apr. 2018 kl. 7:35
that'd great. make my genetically anhanced fenerox look non-evil
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 7. apr. 2018 kl. 5:02
@Diam0niter Perhaps I will admit that it looks a little strange currently. Perhaps I'll add some dyable eyeliner that's how the contacts used to look.
Dym0niter 7. apr. 2018 kl. 3:53
I prefer how it origianally looked honestely
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 7. apr. 2018 kl. 3:47
@Diam0niter I realized that the "eyes" that the contacts were recolouring were actually markings, according to the Starbound Wiki, so I fixed it to recolour the actual eyes, rather than making it look as though they were wearing eye-shadow.
Dym0niter 7. apr. 2018 kl. 3:45
what happened to the adorable contacts? only one pixel changes colour for me and it makes my once not evil looking fenerox look evil now.
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 6. apr. 2018 kl. 6:57
Heterochromic Contacts and some overhauled Cutebound Contacts have been released! Currently, Heterochromic Contacts are only for vanilla races.
Poofle McGreen 💚 6. apr. 2018 kl. 1:19
@Swaghetti & Memeballs Oh dear, I'm no good at decisions, much less that impact else-people that use a mod like this...I believe the top eye would be a better choice myself, but maybe someone else could come by and give their input on that.

However, I did find that Cutebound Hylotls have different eyes, though this can be remedied by combining the Hylotl top eye with both Cutebound eye types.
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 6. apr. 2018 kl. 1:07
@Poofie McGreen However, As I am only able to use 2 colors per eye, and 4 colors max, and Hoytl have 3 eyes, resulting in an exceeded 6 colors, I'd have to choose between making the left/right eyes different colors or top eye a different colors. Which would you prefer, since you made me realize that it was reasonable possible?
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 6. apr. 2018 kl. 0:57
@Poofie McGreen Actually, there is a theoretical way that I may be able to make Heterochromia Contacts, though they would be very limited in color and only for a few races, E.G. Apex/Human and Floran/Avian.

The way dyeing works is that each dya takes a different hex value and changes it to another, but each dye is only allowed to have 4 different hex replacements max, so heterochromic contacts would have to have only 2 colors max, which may cause problems, but I'll see what I can do.

Just don't expect Heterochromic Contacts for every single race out there, cause that'd be insane.
Poofle McGreen 💚 6. apr. 2018 kl. 0:38
Heterochromia wouldn't stay on the one eye you'd want it to either, it'd only make tiehr the front or back eye colored differently rather than left, right or middle eyes...
The Magician 5. apr. 2018 kl. 14:53
@Swaghetti & Memeballs Fair enough.
Dragon_Tom 5. apr. 2018 kl. 14:47
How about the Kazdra/Kazdra(reloaded)? or is there a contacts that works with it already? :SBpanda:
Madalovin 5. apr. 2018 kl. 8:53
I would enjoy seeing contacts added for the "Hive Wasp Race". I noticed they were not on the list of to-do, so I thought I'd mention. c:

MozarteanChaos 5. apr. 2018 kl. 1:16
@Swaghetti & Memeballs thanks!
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. 2018 kl. 1:14
@[goose noises] I'll add a table listing the item IDs in the description when I can, but I've named the all really dumb things. The names of the items are different from the IDs of the items, so...
MozarteanChaos 5. apr. 2018 kl. 0:14
item IDs? i know i can just craft them in admin mode with no problem, but spawning them in allows me to customize the colours further than what is allowed with dyes, so itd be nice to have that info handy
Dr. Alphys  [ophavsmand] 4. apr. 2018 kl. 22:12
@summus artifex @Cheese Biscuits (Red) @Spartan861 That would mean I would have to make three times as many contacts per race, which would just be absurd. Perhaps in the future, maybe, but for now, that would take a hella long time.
summus artifex 4. apr. 2018 kl. 17:18
yeah you could make L and R contacts or even Hyl contacts that can be used to give the hylotle a different colored third eye. and if you want, it could technically be considered a prosthetic eye for other races, should you want to use it that way.
The Magician 4. apr. 2018 kl. 14:01
Would love to see that v
