I really want to see her old MCPB or whatever uploaded again somewhere because that system where you'd put the gun away and sprint faster was fucking CASH.
Is it that Magenta brings down even these kind of mods for reasons unknown? If there are any, actually, it is seriously beyond logic.
Even though I never had the Glaive weapon myself, from all the videos I have seen about it, it is the best (And I dare say, the only) throwing weapon that can come back. I don't know why no one else could do it too.
And I don't understand why would Magenta bring down any reuploads, even if they are moderated to look different. It is stupid. She brought down his/her own mod, why would he/she care if others still want it? What, does that mod ruin his/her Feng Shui or something?
Both of them fly in an arc. A big arc. You would need to be on a very open field to throw it and make sure you always aim horizontially. If you aim vertically or sideways, it will hit the floor, not reach you. And if they hit anything, they stop from flying, and then I have to run to them and get them. Yeah, pretty useless, huh?
The Predator disk does make some decent damage, while the boomerang ones are almost useless for combat. But both are awful for combat because of the flight arc. They also fly almost too slow, even for throwing weapons!
It upset you, it upset everyone that liked the addon.
But the thing is: She's not obligated to keep the addon up; she's not obligated to make sure the addon works with the latest gmod update; and she especially isn't obligated to give a reason for taking down the addon.
this is the biggest problem with the workshop imho, people think they're entitled to the addons they subscribe to, so if they disappear suddenly, it sparks unrighteous outrage, which eventually leads to addon reuploads by some dude who thinks he's hot shit by "saving" the addon
I mean, sure, some of Venturian's videos are cancer, but isn't making fun of him a bit too repetitive?
