Super late but you have to press the button on the tower next to the V2 to disable it. Had no idea the button even existed until I tried climbing the tower and accidentally fell off lol

Yeah I agree, this map was almost done and needed some tweaks (exactly what you say).
Well, the reason is already wrote in the Ardennes thread. Sorry again, hope you enjoyed it ..

this is great! but... i and the ai got stuck on eatchother and laged under ground. the obiectives arent that easy to understand to example: when you need to clear obsticles for the captiored hetzer-

New update today, cf. change notes :

- (potential) Fix for the Hetzer
- New pickable items
- Reduced tonemap scale
- Added block_los brushes for US spawn
- Decreased max amount of bots (from 18 to 14)

Thanks for the report, actually i have a new version on my hdd, i just need to compile it, and upload it. Also for F, it's totally normal and not a bug, i disabled bazooka for destructible objectives, you need to pick a TNT with the engineer class, or from supply drops in the forest.
The foliage problem is a CVAR problem, i should be able to tweak it in the map settings :)

D) If you stick to the left edge of the map while moving forward from the initial spawn there is some weird visual glitching.

E) I got stuck aproximatly under the barrel of the downed german tank.

F) Bazooka rounds seem to pass through the flack gun near the tent.

Hey, Super cool and inspired map. I just got done with fooling around in practice mode and have a few bugs to report.

A) Bots seem to be much better at seeing through the foliage than I am. To an extent that seems unrealistic and harms the sense of imersion.

B) On a related note perhaps, several times at the start, my bot teamates began shooting right off the bat as if they spoted enemy. This meant they were shooting me in the back within about a second of initial spawn. They also did quite a lot of shooting the tank before it starts to move.

C) A couple of times I fell off the map and ended up underneath the action. Both times were near the edge due south of the first sniper tower.

Yeah i have to agree the sherman miss me too ... BUT the hetzer is just awesome, and it's the best choice for this map i think ! Also, don't be sad, the sherman will come back on an another big open map :)

I liked the idea of the stolen Hetzer, though for some players and youtubers it can be a bit confusing for the playerbase. Other than that I adore the new animations and speed, though I still miss the Sherman.

The flickering is a known issue. I'm pretty sure the lighting, as indeed some other bits, are not quite finished. Glad you're enjoying it.

It's really cool being able to interact with the tank, the barricades, and fighting over (and destroying) a v2 rocket.

2 issues I found:
when looking up into the skybox, it sometimes turns completely white. It can also flicker on and off.
It's prob just an opinion, but I think the map is a bit too bright compared to other DOI maps.

Latest update absolutely broke it. Theres' this weird wall texture instead of the grass texture. The same one also flashes at the spawn

I know this bug ... but at the moment i haven't started to work on it, maybe this week-end. We mostly play this map on the WeB server if you want to play online without bots :)

I'm uploading a new update again ...
- new decals on the floor, bunker, under tnt crates
- m1919 on the top of the tank
- barriers can only be destroyed with tnt, not with bazookas - same for flak
- germans can push back the tank
- Destructible objective at the end of the map for each gamemodes : to destroy the rocket, push the button at the bottom of the tower, and press again to stop (30sec countdown)
- Bots spawn a bit less often
- now you can stand up on the top of the tank
- ...

A very awesome map and challenge in the Strongold mode. Unfortunately, I wasn't around to finish it. But there is always next time! Until then it would be cool if people could actually stay up on that tank while it moves :P
