How do I change my c hands to another model while still wearing another player model

Anyone knows what addon could cause this playermodel selector to keep resetting chosen colors to default ones? I have weird bug that puts subscribed addons in wrong order, and this one is in the very first pages of the list so i cannot know now what addons i have installed that could have caused this issue

I'd suggest disabling any addons that cause script errors on start-up, even if it's not related to hands management (if you have any).

does anybody know what addon could cause incompatibility that prevents the player from choosing different c_hands? genuienly searched all of my addons but i cant find what's causing this

Is it possible to blacklist certain skins from being unable to be used.

It works in TTT it seems, but i'm not wanting every option of skins i have on the server to be selectable

i think a recent update for gmod broke this, as i have it active, no other model selectors and this wont show up at all ingame.

That option 'Enforce your playermodel' dosn't work. Code seems the same almost that lines but still dosn't work idk what to do now.

TTT2 is a different gamemode, so it's only natural that it introduces new code that also changes players' skins. I encourage you to review the gamemode's code if you're interested. Ultimately, you can simply enable 'Enforce your playermodel' in the settings menu.

Hello I don't understand how to make work on my TTT2 server. It's restarting to default always after changing the skins and on next round making me as a Pheonix. Also I commented that two lines in lua still not working.

i dont know why but outta nowhere the addon stopped workin and im only getting the base gmod model selector, it legit worked 10 minutes ago but now for some reason its stopped, i have ZERO reason why.

Yeah, I am on the x86-64 branch, but its still broken. Even when I run it by itself with no other mods, it still breaks.

I am aware of those changes, but I just switched to the x86-64 branch (latest version, 2024.12.13), and everything seems to work normally. It seems there's a new 'open_playermodel_selector' console command, which can be used interchangeably with 'blackautumn', but that's all.

2024.12.04 build of x84 branch changed something with VGUI hooks,

New update broke the menu.
Apparently they changed the open playermodel selector command.

I'm not sure if that addon conflicts with this. I hope it doesn't. Anyway, all playermodels have a hands model associated with them, but if it's not specified by the PM creator, that model defaults to the default citizen hands. I assume that is the model you see when you mention you don't have any options. If that is the case, I guess that addon is not doing what I'd expect, that is to say, replacing the default hands with new ones, and is doing something weird instead.

Any chance this conflicts with automatic c hand generator? It's a mod that helps to solve missing hands or hands that don't make sense on playermodels by automatically generating them. I noticed in the hands selection I sometimes don't have any options, it might be that mod, I would need to test without to see, though I do like automatic c_hand generator as I am not running into any problems with this combination.

So I like your player model selector better and my favourites disappearing are resolved by just making new ones with your mod, I like your UI design and menus, features etc it's cleaner & better then the other enhanced player model selector. So well done!

I keep having issues with the other enhanced playermodel selector addon where the favourites tab has dissapeared along with other menu elements... I am not sure what happened, I tried deleting various mods to no avail so far, gonna try your model selector here and see if this mod works better then the Feisuig edit or whatever the name is.

Hands bodygroups can't be saved with the "Save groups" button, but your current hands and their bodygroups should remain between sessions.
