Yea fired it up seems to work without issue...obviously haven't tested with the bazillion guns available but it loads is all I know lol :).

LazyAmerican Not sure if you can use the all-in-one... and to be honest I don't even recall what the compatibility file does... maybe makes mags and optics compatible for weps from both mods?

But the game will probably search for it when firing up the mission, and if it doesn't find it it most likely wont let you play... but then again, I'm not sure. Maybe try with all-in-one and without the comp, but if you run into trouble, just use the mods on the list?

I made this mission a while ago, and back then there certainly was a reason why you need these certain mods, but I can't recall why, I been busy with other missions since....

I intend to find out myself...but just curious do you still need to dl the standalone NIarms packages when using the all in one version? Also do we still need the specific NIarms AK RHS compatibility file?

Chopper yeah its a lot I know, but unfortunately, this is how I roll. But I'm not too sure if this weighs too much on your hardware... maybe try, and if the framerate drops too much, just leave it?

Well i was just checking the ravage forums and was reading that others were having issues with crashing when using the NIARMS weapons mods

Might not be the issue but ive read on the Ravage Forum that others are having issues when using the NIARMS weapons mod some kind of conflict

Version 1.2 Update

- Removed autosaves
- Rebuilt and tested endgame trigger, should work
- Changed minor details in intels. Nothing big/new, really. Polishing.
- Updated to latest version of Ravage

ok all good. I just stopped out there in the ocean and finished. This time around I was able to play through everyting. It was still very crashy around Cherno, but I turned my graphics way down and that seemed to help. Overall I think this is probably the best mission I've played, and I've played all of them. I had a gret time travelling around. I still think the intel method and the storylines, plus a few overal tasks is the best way to handle progress and I would have been happy with ten times as much intel and stories to follow. The best thing is to read notes and then go somewhere on a hunch and actually find something. That's satisfying. On the downside, the autosaves were unecessary and were just irritating, and I also would like to see more use of the many cool places that exist in Redux. It has so many great built-in places for missions, but it's surprising how few of them are used in the scenarios I've played. Great stuff overall.

ROBAX ...and yeh, the bar was kinda end for that line of intel. I had plans for them ladies, but something came up, technical issues I couldn't resolve at the time. The learning curve is bitchy steep, and I'm just noobing around....

ROBAX I think there was supposed to be a trigger, giving you a task when you start driving the boat forward, telling you where the ship is. If it doesn't work, somethings broken.

Ok, moving on from there, I'm at the end, having done all the side missions I can find, and I'm sitting int he boat heading out to sea. Is there meant to be a ship here or am I mean to just stop playing?

Hey Mauseri, I'm just playing this again and it's generally working this time. One question - Does anything further happen at the bar? I could only find 2 intels,, both of which had no further goals, and opening the cage didnt' result in anythign further either. Is something meant to happen there or do I just move on elsewhere?

@Mauseri, that ok, if its a requirement then it should stay in. Besides it did not cause any problems, and as I said, I thoroughly enjoyed this scenario, that much that I intend to do another playthrough. Only thist time, I will do all the caches as last time I just went from intel to intel and didn't bother with the caches as I was getting enough food, water and ammo and weapons from the enemy.

JCDarkstar might be you dont need DS Houses anymore for the CHR map, but at the time when I started to build this it was needed, and still the mission just won't let you play without it because I set it so that you MUST have all the mods in the list...

I can change this once I get back to my own Computer, but that'll be another week or so.

Good scenario. Throughly enjoyed it. Had no problems whatsoever and I am playing this with no GPU and just my i7 4790 with on-board 4600 graphics. Could possibly do with some more side missions just to give it that extra polish. Great job. Hope to see more from you.

Personally I don't think it's the hordes. I've played a lot of Ravage scenarios (like all of them) and haven't really seen this issue, even with loads of zombies. The crashing just starts to happen after maybe 6-8 hours and although at first it happened in Cherno, the other times I restarted it happened earlier, like from around Rog, across Elektro, and to Cherno. I'd like to try again, but it takes such a long game before it happens and I've already restarted it so many times. I'll see if I feel up to it soon though. This was a good mission apart from the crashing.

Godis Yeah you are right, its a heavy modlist, and sure some one will skip this because of that. But every mod is on that list, cause theres something in it I needed. When you wanna get things exactly right, you make no compromises... That is how I roll, have rolled in the past and will roll in the forseeable future.

Way too many mod requirements! Not only that this might cause the mission to be unstable for other people, also it's such a big list that I can imagine, someone just won't try it because of the sheer size of the required mods..

Hi again, I'm such a die-hard I started all over again to see if it would work. Same thng.. got as far as electro and it just started crashing every couple of saves. I'm betting it would work if half of those mods were dropped. But now I see you've released the next mission, I'm going to do that.!

Excellent, I'll look forward to playing that. Intel hunt is definitely good, especially with a bit of a story line and lots of places to go. Intel also avoids issues other scenarios have with triggered tasks often not working. One other thing worth doing - wind the zombie voice pitch down a bit in Ravage. Makes them sound less anemic.

bugger... I restarted and am now as far as Stary but the game is just a constant crash fest. I'll have to stop. I think it is likely the Arma update or maybe some other mod updated. The game ran ok until 2-3 days ago. Great mission though, just how I like it to be!

about the vehicles... theres just a couple of vehicles, you probly won't find them randomly, only through following intels... the other one is good to go, the other one needs fixing, but theres tools stashed nearby, if you can find them....

I've ended up restarting from scratch. I'll let you know how it goes. First three kills were runners, so that part is working! I shoudl mention I've also never seen a car though I have been looking. I don't need to know where one is, but are you quite certain they are there? I was saving tyres and a toolbox last game, but if vehicles aren't there then I don't really need to.

ROBAX Glad you put in the effort to go through my mission... about the runners... i was kinda on the fence on that one, and I thought I put somen in there, but I'm not really sure now. About the crashes... well, I remember putting a LOT of zombies (hordes) in Cherno, but if the game still crashes away from there, it must be the update? I'll check into that, when I'll have the time, but I'm worried that if I'll change something your (and everybody elses) savegame-files won't work...

sometimes these things work out if you copy the savegame files somewhere safe, then restart the mission, and then copy them savefiles back in and try loading them... just be sure NOT to use the latest save file, cause they're maybe more likely somehow corrupt? I'm really not an expert on these matters... 200mb savefiles are big, but usually they start acting out weird when they're very close to 300?

Anyways, I'll try to get this up and running ASAP

ok yeah something has gone very buggy. It's not Cherno. its the whole thing. It just crashes out whenever I try and save. The save games are now quite large, over 200Mb. I've done all the usual troubleshooting, reinstalled DX, installed latest Nvidia drivers, verified the game files and also deleted the game profile, but it's the same every time. There was an Arma 3 update a couple of days ago. Maybe something to do with that if it isn't the huge save games. Other than the fact I can't continue, the game was great. Had everything I likeand could even use more danger such as runners and less food and ammo.

hmm I'm getting stuck in Cherno with crashes. Can't seem to get into town at all. I'll try and bypass the city and head over to Kamenka. Not sure why its crashing so much, but it's errors I dont' normally see such as Out of Memory.

Hi again. I'm getting through this nicely.. real good. I particularly like missions that use intel and a bit of a storyline to keep me going. I was just saying to viewers on my stream that it's good but it needs to be harder in terms of survival. There's loads of food, loads of ammo, and so I'm not needing to bother with looting and surviving, other than dealing with AI. I was also going to say it needs runners, but I see in the description that it has runners. I haven’t seen any so far in 4 nights of playing so there may be something wrong there. Still ploughing on.. I'll review after I've finished. twitch/robaxx

there should be intel in every CTAC (blufor) site, including the ammo stashes... and they lead to new sites, of which many should have intel on even other locations..

hey there.. is there more than just the main 2-3 places with intel? Teh descriptions suggests there are otheres, but how would one know where.. the intel I have only refers to the chicks, lesnik, rog and outta here. I'm at Lesnik wondering if there's any point going elsewhere before I go to rog?
