This mod makes the m240 unusable when turn out on RHS Abrams tanks.

@CW2 P. Larkins It looks like you're right. However, But after two week I didn't notice any special behavior of the Tanks in this mod, I didn't see any new maneuvers or anything smart. Rather, the tanks turned to threats not frontally (as stated in the mod) but backwards, exposing their stern to attack. Most likely this mod just doesn't work...

After connecting this mod I see an error message endlessly:

I highly advise anyone here to NOT use this mod. It seems to just make the AI more incompetent than even vanilla - an incredible development. Perhaps it worked back in the day - not anymore. AI will blatantly refuse to engage targets, have horrible issues with spotting enemies. Avoid!

Nice to see someone in-the-know able to confirm my suspicion. Thought it might just be my imagination that order of mods was having an effect.

Hey!
I just want to inform you that this mod seem to prevent infantry from embarking vehicles.
I am combining TCL and Danger.FSM which seem to work well together, however with smarter tanks reinforcement troops cannot enter their transport truck and keep ejecting after entering.
Am I the first one to discover this?

Sounds like a complicated setup you have there. I can only say this mod does work in sp and mp and in mp has to be on the server and the client pc. I do not know how it gets on with headless clients.

Well the mod is the last mod in sequence. For the Server i am loading all ai mods via -servermod and this one at last. However i am also running a few headless clients. I did add the mod to the parameter string for the headless clients too. Is this maybe only intended to run server side?
Speaking about the rpt log, i can see two empty vehicles beeing initilised but no further one.

Try making it the last thing in the launcher sequence so that the code sits on top of all the other code and is not overwritten by some other mod.

unfortunately it is not working for me anymore. I cannot see the vehicles getting initlised in the log.
Im using rhs vehicles. Do i have to implement something manuelly.

Yes it will work with any unit carrying a canon class weapon or a coax mg class or tank class.

It sure does I use that AI mod as well myself. I make sure that smarter tanks loads after Vcom so that the tank script definately sits over the over scripts. VCOM is brilliant and I find it fascinating to sit and watch the things that it makes the AI do. Some of the smarter tanks script is in Vcom as well just a cut down version with no weapons lists.

Me niether! If the aircraft is carrying tank busting ammo and weapons it gets priority. The code sees into the target and what it is carrying.

This mod is very cool. I saw one of my AI tanks shoot an enemy aircraft with main gun. Never seen that before.

Using Zeus map I saw how you're mod spawns cans of RedGull.
I thought it was strange then I found Land_Can_V3_F in your scan.sqf file.
Forces AI to scan horizon. Very clever.

@Hux, no worries, glad you like it and find it useful. Sorry the mod was not as complete as it should have been to begin with. Normally a server key folder is generated automatically when the mod is signed and published but for some reason after the last update I did it did not get done and I did not spot the error.

1. Added a server key, thanks to Hux for asking for it so that it got done.

I was expecting more of a fight with the ARMA3 tools to do this for you but it went like a dream. :steamhappy:

I see what you mean. They are normally auto generated when I sign and publish and mod on Steam but in this case there is no keys folder and the Bikey is in the addons folder with the PBOs. I will see if I can fix that and do a fresh upload and report back.
