Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

It rained for two days and then stopped.
Space Lord 7 Jul, 2024 @ 6:59pm
Does anyone know what file, and line can you change so rain doesn't last forever? Seems rain never stops after using it.

Thanks!
Dizzy Ioeuy 5 Jul, 2024 @ 11:10pm
It works fine in v1.5

Anyone tried in 1.5? Can add 1.5 tag in about ourselft?

Rain can affect plant growth when using Dubs Bad Hygiene, a popular mod.
Lucky Larry Silverstein 5 Nov, 2021 @ 1:20pm
Rain doesn't affect plant growth

No research needed and also costs cheaper to make than everything? Why even bother fighting fires.

You should really let us change the recipe and make it a super late game research.

1 adv component, 100 plasteel, 200 steel, 50 uranium, 50 gold, and 200 silver. That sounds way more fair for an instant fire supressor and plant growth booster
Thundercraft 21 Aug, 2021 @ 10:18pm
This is a cool concept and something I want to use. But... why no research needed?
Dizzy Ioeuy 5 Jul, 2021 @ 12:36pm
Thanks for the update! This mod is actually pretty important for my playstyle where I made fires burn out of control with no rain automatically called.... So sometimes one of these devices is required. Of course I modded this mod to make them pretty damned expensive and not really tradeable however.

Great mod!!!
Dizzy Ioeuy 22 Nov, 2020 @ 3:26pm
EXACTLY What I needed! THANK YOU! Rimworld mods come from a wish factory I swear!
MasonNasty 3 Oct, 2020 @ 1:27pm
Any chance you could make them pop up in trade caravans? I would like to limit myself to purchasing them only
BioDiesel112™ 21 Sep, 2020 @ 12:35pm
pls add the snowfall feature :)
Kerimt the fraud 17 May, 2020 @ 4:44am
thanks you solve my fire problem
fireglow 6 Mar, 2020 @ 10:13am
Thank you for the multi version update! <3
wjelk 1 Mar, 2020 @ 9:50am
please update to 1,1
jtgibson 10 Feb, 2020 @ 11:05pm
My tweaked version, converted to an artifact: https://pastebin.com/raw/gdNZc95t
End-user must directly overwrite the mod's Defs/RainCall.xml with this.
Varjonyymi 31 Jul, 2019 @ 1:13pm
Could you make some cost and research balanced device that does this and perhaps other weather events? Maybe permanently? Something like a long-range mineral scanner, a 2x2 workbench. Would do it myself but I couldn't make even this device lol
Punyrock 17 Dec, 2018 @ 4:59pm
actually maybe it could be uncraftable, only being obtainable from quests and traiders

just like other magical devices
Punyrock 17 Dec, 2018 @ 4:55pm
໖_໖ it is unbalenced though
Malekith 1 Dec, 2018 @ 12:12am
Why do you guys whine under a free mod someone created in his sparetime and be so kind to make it public, about unbalance and stuff.

No1 cares about your opinion install it say thx or let it be
groovybluedog 3 Nov, 2018 @ 10:39am
Would love to see an option to make it unbalanced like it is, but otherwise it should cost more and be locked behind research.
ChromePlate 29 Oct, 2018 @ 11:04am
atm i am in a biome that rains ALLOT apparently, any way you could help with that too?
LSTM 19 Sep, 2018 @ 9:04pm
I used this in a desert map, and the rain never stop. lol
nephilimnexus 30 Aug, 2018 @ 8:54am
It's back! Thank you!
nephilimnexus 28 Aug, 2018 @ 8:54am
Dang, no B18 version for those of us not wanting to update? I will miss you, rain caller. You made desert life so much easier. :(
nephilimnexus 10 May, 2018 @ 9:14am
Finally, a way to safely kill those damn boomalopes. Thanks!
Sel Und Irae 5 Apr, 2018 @ 8:22pm
Would this work with flashstorm?
I like the constant thunder but dislike the flames
usually have to spam "Change weather" in console commands to get the thunderstorm effect from "Flashstorm" + "Rain"
The Rabid Otter 5 Apr, 2018 @ 10:39am
Cool idea. Does it work quickly enough to put out fires?
Kosy 5 Apr, 2018 @ 10:38am
Why?
