Technical answer: the original sprite definition in the default materials.txt is:

BEGIN Object
Name StaffFoodBoxed
MaxStackSize 40
RenderDepth 1
SpriteVariants 3
Price -10
Sprite StaffFoodStack1
StackSprite StaffFoodBoxed1
Properties Material
Properties SlowDelivery
END

and the corrected definition in this mod is:

BEGIN Object
Name StaffFoodBoxed
MaxStackSize 40

Price -2
Sprite StaffFoodStack1
StackSprite StaffFoodBoxed1
SpriteVariants 3
Properties Material
Teleportable true
END

The crucial difference being that SpriteVariants should be defined below the Sprite property.

I'm severely disappointed that staff no longer eat doors. I mean, surely that solitary door HAS to taste nice... metal... right?

Open materials.txt in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods\1352960481\data and remove "teleportation true" ... voila.

Mod update:
- staff shouldn't eat doors any more. A small bug in the default definitions of staff food makes the staff eat a door sometimes. This should now be solved.

Well it's just to be sure that food for the staff is coming in even when the roads are cluttered with all kinds of trucks, so that it won't arrive way too late.

Agreed, I love the idea of this mod, but not a fan of the teleportable food. I mean, it's not a bad idea, but it's nudging my OCD ;-;

Perfect thanks, much better balanced like this. Prefer this version of the mod personally because I think my staff deserve to be served free food to make up for dealing with the crazy prisoners in this game!

After playing with this mod for a few days I am finding that day-to-day costs for staff food is roughly half of the price of my staff wages which is much better than the staff food costing a significant amount above the wages, which is what happens for me without this mod.

In real life, staff pay for their own meals in most locations... so the whole staff food experience is lame. ^_^ I wonder if you could make the cost negative to simulate staff paying for their food?
