@LKLaRose - Did you ever figure out why the "Clear the Checkpoint" task won't complete?
I finally looked at it in the Eden Editor & there's an officer embedded inside the Hesco Bunker at the west end.
The task is basically "kill them all ...", but you can't kill him because bullets don't penetrate the Hesco barricade. I tried going up in the bunker and shooting through the floor, but that didn't work. Haven't tried shooting the bunker with a RPG yet.

New problem - one of the tasks is kill everyone and find the loot. I killed them all except the driver of an Offroad (HMG) who just drove away & disappeared. Can't find him anywhere, so I can't kill him and can't get a task complete. If I go on to do something else will he eventually come back?

In Alter Hill weapon mounted lights appear not to work and the handheld flashlight appears to die after a short time ... to short a time to find what you need to find to complete the task in such a large complex. And once the flashlight dies, you're stuck in the dark

I've also experienced the problem with some tasks not completing even though I've completed all of the necessary steps & found the "Loot rewards".

Great scenario. I completed the task "Clear the checkpoint", checked all around for additional enemy and couldn't find any but it would not show as completed on the tasks list. Am I missing something?

Couple points, really good mission having tasks with ravage on this epic map. Some problems though... Spoiler alert btw
I couldn't destroy the UAV terminal as there was no terminal in the camp, also the waypoint was about 250 meters underneath the camp ground... Gathering the intel in the alter hill complex was a nightmare to end up not finding (2 hours later). A couple other smaller tasks wouldn't complete for no reason, like finding the downed plane and helicopter. Other than that I have had a lot of fun playing this mission, Keep up the good work.

Has anyone else had issues with saves ? Just started this about an hour ago, immediately found some good loot, saved, then got side tracked IRL and died, tried to reload my save and it said that the save had files that had been deleted but i was literally just playing it, nothing had been deleted, gave it another go from a restart saved, tried to reload and the exact same thing happened. Any thoughts on were i went wrong ? Had a similar issue with another scenario out of nowhere. dunno if i accidentally broke something or what haha thanks for the help in advance

Hey, thx for you OutBreak scenarios, love them. I have quick Q, is it normal that i being oneshoted by infected thru the car? Even an speed 50+ if infected wasn't killed he kills me insted (sometimes they need one hit, sometimes two hits, but mostly one).!

Make sure that when your done playing you click save and exit others the game will not save

Had a good few hours of fun with a friend in this. Then we just started dying over and over, for no reason. Just dropping dead with the 'xxx forced respawn' message. At first I thought maybe we died from radiation poisoning, but it kept happening even though it said we were healthy, so we had to stop.

whatever folder you have @Ravage in you want to place the Ravage_CUP in the same folder then when you launch arma 3 it should show up with your other mods

Seems like a really good mod but it's absolute pain to get started. Raider patrols spawning behind you and immediately spot you really kill the fun. Maybe that could be tuned?

Jacob - Use the Enhanced Movement mod. It lets you climb on small buildings and then you can shoot the ruuners from safety.

The runners are f'ing annoying, by te time you turn around and shoot if you dont hit them in the head with the little time you have to aim the have already hit you twice. And the aiming is so wack its impossible to get a headshot. In dayz you just had to shoot them once and they fell, I know thats not realistic or whatever. But it sure would make the game a hell of a lot easier. The zombies also somehow hear you coming from a pretty good distance even if your crouched, they come right to you. Other than that its a great game mode. I love the fact that you can play alone with AI;s.

You probably already know this but you can still read the tasks without having a map some should display a waypoint if you click assign

I will definitley include melee that would be awesome. As for maps your best bet is to take one from a dead raider or from one of the Ai i have placed i think they do spawn in trash piles but are rare i could be wrong though i dont see heading NE as a issue though you might encounter a task and not even know that it is a task

Two quick questions:

1. Good news! Haleks is adding melee to Ravage for the next update. Assuming it works ok, would you consider adding it to this mission?

2. Hey so, I don’t want you to spoil anything for anyone (so I can PM you if you want), but I don’t know Chernarus like most Arma players because I never played DayZ much. Ok so I went south on mission start, found the road, and decided to head north east, clearing and looting villages as I go. If I continue in north east, will I eventually discover a map? Do they only spawn on dead humans and maybe at traders? I realize the heart of this mission is to acquire a map. Is north east an ok direction to keep going in? I have no idea where I am and my number one goal in life is to get myself a map lol.

Great work on this mission, by the way. It’s a blast so far.

Yeah that seems like a fair assumption. For me it CTD’d Arma during the loading screen with the mission title, so during the script and map loading part. If it happens again I’ll get you a rpt file.

It loaded just fine after restarting the game, and I played for just over an hour and had no issues.

This is a lot of fun! Not sure if Haleks added some new music, or if you added some tracks, but the music is wonderful (there's one that's played that reminds of The Witcher 3 lol). I'd say this is definitely on the "harder," side. I'm not a great player, so the amount of running zombies, combined with the human enemy spawns definitely keeps your heart pumping (and for me save scumming), but that probably isn't a bad thing as I get more ammo. I still haven't found a map yet (killed like 5 dudes and looted a few towns), so no mssions yet, and I haven't found a light source yet which I really want, but I'm having a good time and look forward to playing again tomorrow. Excellent job!

Weird just had a CTD on mission startup. Hmm. I find that odd considering I started the mission yesterday just fine. I didn't save any progress yesterday at all, I just played for a bit to see what the mission was all about. So it's not a corrupt save. The rpt doesn't really have anything useful. There are some errors, but nothing that stands out too much. I'm playing with the required mods, plus Enhanced Movement and CUP Vehicles (along with Ravage's optional CUP addon) and nothing else. Gonna try again.

also just wanted to let you know that some of the tasks are not marked on map and some tasks need to be unlocked in order to show up on map and in task info

What i did was include the hand held flashlight that comes with Chernarus Redux I added it to some of the loot containers at task locations i also added some of the flashlight attachments to the supply drop script i used along with the loot script that spawns loot on the ground in cherno though they can be hard to find. As for identifying friendlys its kinda hard unless you have a map because of the fact that they look like the other hostile NPC's, The banknotes you earn from killing zombies and can be used to by stuff from roaming traders who will have a large backpack on or by locating the traders that i placed on map by hand, three types of traders supply,gear,Weapons.
I know that the AI will conversate with each other so that might be a way of identifying if you get close enough

Hey! I finally had a chance to try this, only had a few minutes but wow this is exactly what I was looking for (Chernarus Redux + Ravage + tasks!). Quick question, is there any way to equip ourselves with a light source? In my experience it can get extremely dark on this map at night. I’d honestly love to have one at mission start, assuming they are not in the loot pool (either a rail attachment light, or headlamp, etc). FYI RDS Civilians has an actual flashlight included in the mod which is awesome if you feel like it’s a good idea and want to add a dependency.

Also, I noticed a patrol of dudes. They scared me so I hid lol. Is there any way to tell who’s friendly?

Oh and what are the banknotes for? Is that the currency to buy gear from traders or something?

Updated to Ravage 1.55, added new vehicles for AI Patrols and Added Laucnhers from CUP for NPC's to carry

47 mins after your update I load up the mod - with cup ravage enabled - i played once, it crashed. deleted my saves and it will no longer get past the briefing screen. crashes every time i press continue. Altis exp works fine as do other scenarios. Anyone else seeing crashes with this?

no problem hey guys im doing a update right now in order for the auto fuel to be disabled you will need to load the optional CuP_Ravage mod inside your ravage folder this will eliminate the laggy script i was using before

Hello. Great mod, but I personally see it as a downside that after the tanks update from today, loot spawns on the floor . Is it something you intended?
