Hello, I don't have time to personally check but it should be fine. Thank you for the compliment as well :).
Should be yes
Yes its been updated.
No, it shouldn't cause any conflicts.
Also, I am making a mod that adds a Third Temple building to the Synagogue holding in Jerusalem once the decision is taken. Will that conflict with anything in your mod?
Well I dunno what the stoics are exactly, but this is a completely different society from vanilla. Warrior lodges were made for pagans and tbh I have other stuff to work on, so its pretty much never gonna happen. Someone else might do it tho.
would you consider making a jewish warrior lodge? because god knows a kingdom of israel that pops up is definetly going to be militaristic
You're welcome, I'm glad you like it :).
It means that after you start a new game with this mod, you will have to wait 3-4 ingame months while the mod gets ready, then you can join the society and interact with it.
Yes, it's compatible with Jewish Kings
You are vert welcome :).
I am planning another society but it will not be focused on a religion. It will still take some time to be finished, and I hope you will enjoy that one as well.
oh ok. Thanks for the heads up
Probably just the Kohen Gadol excommunication, I've pretty much stopped working on this mod.
I never bothered to do something if Jerusalem gets destroyed because the chances of the AI actually taking jerusalem and burning it is very low. If you're the one doing it, ummm just...don't...
The mod will keep functioning normally tho, except whichever nomad holds the now destroyed Jerusalem will have the modifier giving them increased jewish opinion.
haha nice. What's the update going to be?
Related: what happens if Jerusalem is conquered by a horde and the pillaging destroys the Hall of Hewn Stones?
Currently yes, and it would be the same as any other person getting excommunicated. It's highly unlikely that it would happen tho.
Ill make a small update later related to this, since you made me lose my sleep thinking about this :p.
I've never heard of invalid checksums happening for vanilla.
If you're playing with ck2+ you will get that warning if you use any other mod besides ck2+, this mod is compatible with ck2+ so you should be fine there.
Theres a forum link that has a download link in the description
@Dreden
It shouldn't be from here, I made extra sure not to modify any vanilla files. I'll have a look tommorow just incase.
Yes they do, but to make sure the player/AI has a chance to actually do the mission I relaxed the age requirment
But Aurius will speak for himself if so he desire.
If you become the leader of the Sanhedrian, you get a decision in the intrigue menu to ask the holder of Jerusalem to build. I believe that the requirements were that the Society's treasury was 100 or more (to pay for the building), and the holder was either NOT zealous, or "does not control religion". I think that means the owner shouldn't be a religious head like a Caliph.
My character was zealous, so it wouldn't let me. Removing the zealous actually let me send myself a request, however choosing either option ultimately didn't build (bug). Changing my capital and giving Jerusalem to a vassal let be build it in the end.
I don't think the fact an opponent is zealous is wrong as to hinder the fulfillment of that goal, as he could have theological dispute with you or claim that initiative for himself alone (jealousy), or simply hates you because he wants to sit on your post in this society. The other issue, that you yourself rule Jerusalem while meeting this obstacle, is less explainable. Still I could imagine people fearing a wrongdoing by following you, even as local ruler. The mod however should tell in a message box *why* this is happening as it is.
Ill have a look at those issues tommorow. For the plot do you mind telling me the size of the largest jewish realm in ur game?
After years of supposed "dedication", I became the big boss of the Sanhedrin aka Ha-Nasi.
I immedietely went to attempt to build the Hall of Hewn Stones, however the person controlling Jerusalem was zealous. Now there are 2 things wrong with that, one is that the zealous person was Jewish, and the other reason was that a certain myself held Jerusalem.
I've noticed that a shit ton of people really want to accuse people of theft... I once had someone with a high positive opinion try to accuse me of theft! My low priority message list is always full of people wanting to accuse others of theft.
Its not historical, i did make some deviations for the sake of gameplay. I was mostly out of ideas at that point.
Mod has already been updated and is now compatible :), check the change notes
Jewish kings adds a lot to Judaism, and so does this mod. These two mods seem like two peas in a pod.
