I was wondering though, wouldn't Service Bots be withing the capabilities of a NASA Engineer? Maybe even kind of an entertaining novelty item?
Just saying, mainly because I discovered they were extremely handy in another playthrough where they were accessible under a different Commander type.
To be honest, I'm not sure why that's not just a standard tech in the Robotics Tree. Or at least a "Breakthrough" Tech that's available to 'every' commander type.
Anyway, I just thought I'd ask about it. I'm trying to figure out how to make Service Bots universal, but it's been two decades since I even tried my hand at computer science in collage. And, this modding system is a lot more complex than anything I've tried since I was teaching myself C++ for MSDOS 3.1 and some dBASE 3 back in the late 80's and/or early 90's.
Thanks for considering the idea anyway.
