I think you're right, I'll go through my mods and check sometime. Thank you for making this mod, btw. :)

Perhaps it's an issue with a conflicting mod, the rifle sound matches up with the original fire length, channels, etc.

Thank you heaps. :D

Yeah, it glitched a little after firing for a second. Other than that, I love these sounds.

Oh yeah, I need to do that. I'll probably go ahead and replace them tomorrow.

Oh okay and one thing you forgot to replace the M60 with the light machine gun sounds from fallout new vegas
Pompadour Nautice  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 10:08pm
That should be about it in terms of replacing and removing audio, although I'm not the best at explaining things.

You don't have to, doing what I listed should manually replace them, but if you need to, you'd need to download GCFScape, extract the CS:GO addon, find the sounds folder, delete it, install L4D2 Tools on Steam, and drag the file now-without-sounds onto it.

How do I delete the sounds?
Pompadour Nautice  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 9:02pm
No, not at all. Here, I'll give you a little walk through:

. First you open up Steam
. Right click Left 4 Dead 2 in the Games menu
. Select Properties and then Local Files
. You should see a button that says 'Browse Local Files'
. Should bring you to the game directory, from there find the file 'left4dead2'
. In there, select the 'addons' folder
. In the addons folder are a bunch of VPK files that have numbers, those are the workshop files. . Find the sound addon you've subscribed to by searching for it, example 1355620990 for this mod. You can find it on the website URL, the number should be right after filedetails/?id=
. Double-click it, and all should be well. It should say 'Successfully Installed'

Ahhh okay....do i have do like download smething?
Pompadour Nautice  [author] 7 Apr, 2018 @ 8:50pm
I really don't feel like taking people's work, removing a piece of sound, and re-uploading it. I'd suggest to have a manual install of the sound you want it to replace, if my below guide wasn't very clear I can go ahead and rewrite it.

I'd have to get permission from the mod author, but most weapon skins usually can be overwritten. If you want, go to your l4d2/addons folder, find the ID for this mod (1355620990), search for it in that addons folder, you should see a .vpk. Double-click that and it should install, which should have it override most.

Although not all weapon mods require this, sometimes the audio just gets overwritten anyhow.

Can you remove sounds from weapon skin mods?
