also you make some of these seprate
. First you open up Steam
. Right click Left 4 Dead 2 in the Games menu
. Select Properties and then Local Files
. You should see a button that says 'Browse Local Files'
. Should bring you to the game directory, from there find the file 'left4dead2'
. In there, select the 'addons' folder
. In the addons folder are a bunch of VPK files that have numbers, those are the workshop files. . Find the sound addon you've subscribed to by searching for it, example 1355620990 for this mod. You can find it on the website URL, the number should be right after filedetails/?id=
. Double-click it, and all should be well. It should say 'Successfully Installed'
Although not all weapon mods require this, sometimes the audio just gets overwritten anyhow.
